Oscar and Minor took us on a 3 in 1 tour today. They were on time, showed plenty of reptiles, birds and animals, took pictures drove us around. Took us to their cafe for a farm to table lunch and dropped us back at 4 pm. Oscar is very skilled and is a local to La Fortuna he knows the details and is very professional.

I had the most fantastic day exploring the hanging bridges, La Fortuna waterfall and Arenal volcano! I could not recommend Rain Forest Explorers highly enough. It was a fantastic company and the tour was so well organized! My guide was Jason Torres and he was the best guide I have ever had! He was so knowledgeable and passionate about the nature and the animals! His expertise made the tour even better than I had expected. My expectations for this day were very high and Jason managed to exceed even my highest expectations! If you are in the La Fortuna area, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Rain Forest Explorers and ask for Jason. I guarantee it will be the best day of your trip! Such a great way to see and do so much in one day!!!! šŸ‡ØšŸ‡·šŸ˜šŸ’™

Amazing tour! Mario was exceptional, the stories and the knowledge he shared with us were great. He showed us lots of animals and shared the pictures with all of us. The lunch in el Rancho was one of the best meals Iā€™ve had in CR, and the hike to the volcano to finish the tour was beautiful. If you donā€™t have much time in La Fortuna and want to see lots of things this is the tour for you!

We loved our tour all around Fortuna with Jason and Jaime! Jason was so knowledgeable on all the wildlife and vegetation of the area, it truly made our experience. We got to see all three types of monkeys native to the region - howler, spider, and white faced. The hike and waterfall were both fun activities and picturesque settings. Finally, our lunch was fresh and delicious to end our tour! Definitely bring lots of water and water shoes as the rocks at the waterfall can be slippery. All around, definitely recommend this tour!

It was just beautiful. Lots of steps (I think 500) but lots of places to stop on the way down or up to rest. Absolutely worth it. Also swam a bit although water was cold, once you got in wasnā€™t too bad. Could have sat there all day and watched the waterfall!

We had an excellent day. There were just 3 of us with guide, Tony, and a driver. The description on the Viator site wholly understates how good it is. Hanging bridges - easy walk but with Tony we saw Spider monkeys, blue jean frogs, toucans, howler monkeys, viper snake, multiple spiders. Absolutely great. Then fresh fruit laid out by driver (pineapple, watermelon) before driving 25 minutes to La fortuna waterfall, There are 500 steps but can take it at your own pace down and back up. Lunch was at Rainforest explorers - cooked just for us, a traditional casado plate with choice of fish, chicken or beef with water or watermelon juice and coffee. Then onto Arenal volcano to walk along 1968 lava trail, Walking sticks provided. Our guide really made the day , explaining about the animals, plants, volcano, history etc. We did whole tour in about 7 hours including lunch. We are fast walkers and didn't swim at the volcano,

Fantastic tour! We got picked up from our hotel at 7am and joined a group of 8. We started at the MĆstico Arenal Hanging Bridges where we explored the area and even saw Howler monkeys. We were treated to some fruit before moving on to the La Fortuna Waterfall. It's quiet a few steps down and then back up (I would say not suitable for people with mobility issues) but worth it! We even took a dip and the bottom of the waterfall. Next was the trip to see the Arenal Volcano. We didn't manage to see it due to cloud cover and rain, so we did get a little wind swept and wet! But it was still a fun trek and informative experience. Both Fabricio and our driver had eagle eyes and first class expertise as they'd spot wildlife in the trees whilst driving along the road and we'd hope out to take a look. Fabricio's english was excellent and was very accommodating to everybody on the tour. The lunch was also delicious - traditional and homemade by the family of the Rain Forest Explorers, you got a choice. We even saw two wild scarlet macaws flying and landing in a tree, as well as sloths, toucans and turkey vultures! We booked this before we travelled based on reviews and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend this tour.

Isaac made this such a wonderful day! He was so knowledgeable about the rainforest and all its creatures from big to small. The walk through the rainforest canopy, beautiful waterfall, and hike at Arenal made for an adventure filled day. I must say the lunch provided was one of the best meals we had in Costa Ricaā€¦.it was a delicious home cooked meal provided in a beautiful setting and far exceeded our expectations. Everyone in our group would highly recommend this tour and would tell any future explorers they would be very lucky to get Isaac as their guide!

We werenā€™t sure if we should do this in Arenal and we are so glad we did. Our tour guide Christian was very knowledgeable and found several birds, animals, snakes, etc during the daylong tour. A lot of the plant, bird and animal species found in Costa Rica are very small and different from other countries. So we couldnā€™t have found or identified them ourselves. The hanging gardens, Arenal volcano and the waterfall are all stunning in their own ways. The traditional lunch provided was also delicious. The ranch where we had lunch had so many beautiful birds as well. A must-do in Arenal.

Amazing experience. Securing a guide is helpful to spot different wildlife. Check times as it seemed to get crowded in afternoon. Bring water and binoculars.

Raul and Ellio were awesome, awesome, aweosme. We cannot say enough how great our guides were and how wonderful of an experience this was. Highly recommend. The bridges were amazing, the waterfall was so much fun and the volcano hike with the panoramic view was 1,000% worth it!

This activity was wonderful! They picked us on time at our hotel! Our guide isaac was really passionate and explained us a lot of things about animals and the places! He also spotted a lots of animals that were well hidden and showed them to us! The meal was the most dƩlicious that we ate in our whole trip im Costa Rica! The guide explained us that it was not an open restaurant, you can only eat this meal if you book this activity! I highly recommend it! They were very attentive about us and very sympathic! The views were beautiful and everything was really safe! I expected this to be physically difficult but it was not bad! We enjoyed it a lot!

It was a wonderful experience with a very great guide, Fabricio. I particularly liked the hanging bridges and we saw all kinds of wildlife and learned a lot about the ecosystem. The waterfall was beautiful and the hike of the volcano was also stunning and we learned a lot about the volcanoes and saw some beautiful birds. The lunch was delicious prepared by a local family who were very gracious. What made the experience special was our knowledgeable and personable guide, Fabricio.

Best experience in Costa Rica. Febreezio & Hymiene were both wonderful. We saw many animals at the Hanging Bridges- saw both types of sloths, not to mention the photos our tour guide was able to take were phenomenal. Febreezio was both Informative and humorous. Definitely recommend.

Isaac did a wonderful job guiding us on this tour with interesting stories and facts about the area and Costa Rica in general. The added touch of the family lunch only for tour guests was the cherry on top! While we didnā€™t see the volcano because it was raining during the dry seasonā€¦ the group made up for feeling disappointed about that!
