My Didi app payment did not work but she happily took over and of course I paid her with cash after that. Although the old antiques market is gone, Sunny brought me to a labyrinth of tiny shops in a mall at Yu Garden. We shortly we came across a tiny antique shop owned by a lovely couple. With Sunny’s bargaining skills, I eventually bought 2 gourd vases made of brass, at a relatively good price!! As a sole female traveler, I felt safe and well taken care of!

Fantastic tour if you are looking for a unique and custom experience in Shanghai. I only had a few days left in Shanghai but had a few things I was specifically shopping for and Sunny helped me get everything efficiently and at a fair price, while sharing facts about the city and generally good conversation along the way. One of the items on my list was a pair of pearl earrings for my wedding, when I wasn’t finding anything I liked Sunny took me to a stall that was able to make what I was looking for while we waited, I am extremely happy with the result. Sunny picked us up at the hotel, showed us around the markets, even helped us haggle. We tasted the local beer. It was a great trip.

Sunny was very prompt with communication and met me on time at my hotel. She tailored the tour to my needs. However where she really excelled was helping me to resolve some issues with the tailor making my clothes, going over and above to make sure that my clothes turned out ok. I’m most grateful for her persistence and patience.

I had the best time!! Sunny immediately understood exactly what I was after and planned our time accordingly. In just 4 hours I got to experience parts of Shanghai I never would have found or dared to try on my own due to my poor Chinese skills. Friendly and Helpful Person, worth the price! Can only recommend! There is a basic route which we continue, BUT if you have any special needs like “toy shop” or something they can help and take you there!

I booked a trip and I must say it was fantastic. Everything was organised from collection and the guide Sunny was really good - very knowledgeable and really made my trip a magical experience. I had an amazing day out in Shanghai with Lilly. At first, I was worried about the expense of hiring a private guide when I usually just consult guide books and make my own way. But Shanghai is such a vast city and I really wanted to make every minute matter. It turned out to be the best money I spent on my entire two week trip to China and Singapore. I went for a tour with our own driver and we covered everything I wanted to see. We went to the fabric market, the spectacles market, had a lovely walk through an older part of the city, a great lunch and went to the jade market. Lilly was happy to haggle for me, but I really wanted to learn. She gave me some great tips, helped when I needed it, and by the end of the day I was bargaining like a professional - it was great fun and it enhanced the rest of my trip. I'm looking forward to coming back to Shanghai and when I do I'll certainly be having another fab shopping day with Sunny Tours.

I booked a 4 hour shopping trip with Sunny and had an extremely positive experience. It was great to have someone that knew the right places to go, could navigate the bartering process and also lend an unbiased point of view. I was able to buy prescription eye glasses and prescription sunglasses with frames and lenses at a substantially lower price than in the US. I also purchased some pretty natural pearl pieces that were in stunning colors. A trip to the fake market resulted in a great pair of sneakers for my son and a wallet for my husband. There are lots of ladies handbags but none that met my personal bar. Sunny was a great resource because I had limited time. I would highly recommend!

I booked this for shopping and to practice my Mandarin in bargaining for Chinese goods to bring back to the States with me; It surely didn't disappoint! She paid for herself within the first hour of clothes shopping in the subway area. Fun to talk to and hang around, and taught me some interesting things about Chinese culture.
