Enjoyed fished for salmon. Was a small group - just 5 of us. We each caught at least one salmon. Was a lot of fun and not far from the ship.

Jake was awesome. The fishing started out a little slow but once the tide started coming in we were catching humpies on almost every cast. It was very enjoyable and Jake was professional and friendly. Gear provided was in excellent condition and matched to the size fish so a great fight. Highly recommend 👍👍👍

We met with guide Jake near the Tram and took a van to nearby Sheep Creek. There were only six of us, and the small group size allowed for individual attention, fast licensing, and no delays. IDK about calling this a “class” though. We were handed a rod and hip waders and off we went, although I’m sure Jake would have gladly helped if anyone needed assistance. We had the choice of a spinning rod or fly rod or both, and everyone caught several pink salmon, trout, and flounder.

Jake was the perfect guide - relaxed and had a ton of information and local knowledge to get me on the fish. The action was non-stop, I ended up catching 16 pink and chum salmon (and 2 sculpin) on the fly in the 3-hour trip. Amazing scenery and we weren't fighting for a spot to fish - just a perfect morning fishing. Thanks Jake!

Had an amazing trip with Jacob as my guide. He was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what the tides and fish were doing. Saw hundreds jump and tail and caught several of them on the fly. Will be back again.

Incredible trip. Jake was phenomenal. We fish a ton and Jake was one of the best guides we have ever had. Super knowledgeable, very helpful, and most importantly an incredible attitude. They also bring fly and spin gear on each trip, so if you aren't comfortable with the conditions for fly fishing you can quickly get on the fish with conventional tackle. could not recommend more highly. While you cannot control if the fish were biting, there needs to be some strategy. Basically we were given rods and let go. No direction on how to do the bait.. slow, fast, nothing. Expected much more. Wish we wouldn’t have spent our once in a life time trip on this.

Art was so much fun to fish with. His knowledge of the area and stories made the time between catches fun. This is a must for anyone looking for a low key fishing adventure.

Salmon fishing in Alaska was a bucket list item and I wanna thank Alaskan Anglers for making that happen. Jake, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and patient. I emphasize patient because I’m a beginner fisherman. I honestly did not expect to catch anything but feeling the salmon strike and fight was an amazing feeling and something I’ll always remember. Thank you Jake and the rest of the Alaskan Anglers team for the amazing experience and top notch customer service.

Guides need yo be more intune with the fish. Going to community holes is not the alaskan fishing experience. They collect your money, and it doesn't matter to them if you catch a fish or not. They are already thinking about next group. Do not expect to stay dry woth their gear. The wadders have holes in them and your feet will feet wet. Guide was a nice guy. I will pass on further alaskan fishing experiences.

Join Art on a trip and you’ll be feeling and fishing like a local in no time. Art thoughtfully guided us along the shores of Juneau, sharing history and facts about Juneau throughout the trip. We ended up with three big Dollys (after days of getting skunked on our own). I can’t recommend this tour and Art enough! It will be the highlight of your trip.

This was practically my first time fishing, and my guide Jake was the perfect instructor! By the end of the day I caught several pink salmon and left feeling confident I could fish on my own. I can’t recommend Alaska Anglers Club enough! If you want a great time fishing in the beautiful Juneau area, they are a must!

we were on the Royal Caribbean cruise ship and didn’t have anything to do, we booked a fishing trip for four at the docks. We were picked up by Jake and driven to the Crow Creek where we put on waders and headed down to the creek where we fished with fly rods and spinning reels. We caught about 30 fish between the 4 of us. half of the came off of the line. All the fish we caught and released due to being on a cruise ship. This fishing outfit was outstanding and Jake was super helpful, full of energy and helped with every catch. Jake is an amazing angler. Thank You

Arrived early in Juneau and met my guide Jake at the Goldbelt Tramway! Jake had me in my gear for the fishing trip and within 20 minutes we were out on the water fishing and fished for 2 hrs +. I caught pink salmon! Yeah for me! I had the most amazing fishing trip I have ever had fishing! Someday, I hope I can return and do it all again! Thx Jake for all the attention and help that you gave me…you were an outstanding guide!!!

It was an impromptu fishing trip after getting off the cruise ship, but it was a great time! The trip ended up being myself, a couple from the same cruise shop and another solo client from a different cruise ship. We met at the pier and got into a passenger van go get to the bank for fishing a little ways down the road. Once we arrived our guide had us start the paperwork for our fishing license, meanwhile he got our fishing poles rigged up and got us into hip waders. It seemed like a slow day for fish, I had heard from others that the king salmon run was slowing down so it wasn't much of a shock. We got into several schools of chum salmon and some dolly varden trout. I had a fantastic time and caught a gorgeous chum that we released and the others caught some very nice dolly trout. Our guide, Jake, was on time and professional. It seemed like a slow day on the river but he worked hard to get us into some fish. He offered expert guidance and was extremely knowledgeable as well as easy friendly conversation. This is a trip to catch beautiful fish in a beautiful place.
