We didn’t get to go on this tour so this is a rating for the tour company. We booked for a Sunday, paid in advance, got a reminder via text and TripAdvisor but nobody turned up at the meeting point. It was only after I phoned our guide and left a voicemail that I received a chat from the company saying the tour was cancelled due to the guide’s personal reasons. My husband texted our guide and he said he’d told the tour company he couldn’t do the tour on a Sunday so we should have had a cancellation four days earlier. We were very disappointed particularly as we weren’t offered to re-book.

The tour was very interesting and the visit of the mercado central with the opportunity to try different local specialities and to meet and speak with the producers was really great. Our guide Javier was very nice and explained the history of Alicante as well as showed us nice places, including a wine shop with a great tasting. We really enjoyed the tour and thanks again to Javier for the great time we spent together.

The 10 tastings of Alicante tour was an amazing experience. The food was incredible, and we got to see parts of the city that we would have never seen otherwise. The tour was well organized and the fact is was private gave us the freedom to go around on our pace and visiting the places we liked. I highly recommend going on this tour if you're visiting Alicante. It's a great way to experience local culture while having fun and eating some amazing food along the way!

I recently went on this tour in Alicante with guide Arianne. We had such an amazing time together, and we learned so much about the culture as well as the cuisine! The private tour meant it was only us and our host which was great because we got personalized attention throughout the day. The food was great, from local oysters to cocas and artichokes. And it was definitely next level because of our host Arianne who made the tour super enjoyable. She knew all the good food spots and also adjusted the route based on our preferences. Arianne also made sure our kids enjoyed it by stopping at a playground and of course treating them with a delicious ice cream. Definitely recommend!

Onze recente food tour door Alicante was een geweldige ervaring. We waren met twee oudere stellen en ondanks het mindere weer, hebben we heerlijk door de stad gewandeld. De stops die we onderweg maakten waren perfect gekozen en we hebben veel lekkere dingen geproefd. De turrón de Alicante was bijzonder leuk om te proeven en ook de bocarones waren heerlijk. Het Barrio de Santa Cruz was echt heel sfeervol en omdat we een privétour hadden, konden we alles op ons eigen tempo doen. Onze gids was super enthousiast en gastvrij, wat de ervaring nog beter maakte. Kortom, we hebben genoten van onze food tour en zouden het zeker aanbevelen aan anderen.
