Tiago and Sanchez were great guides on a tour of the caves which was unforgettable and such a brilliant experience. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip so would have no hesitation at all in recommending it! However, although they say it’s suitable for all ages, I’d say it’s not suitable for children under 3. Our 3 year old loved it but I was very relieved that we’d decided against our baby coming - it really would have been totally unsuitable!

What a brilliant tour. Fantastic stories to go with the incredible views. Fun sailing manoeuvres. Sanchez and Tiago made it worth every penny.

Our boat captain was able to put us inside caves to see the magnificent, sculptured rock. He was also very accommodating, returning to a cave to capture more pictures.

We took the superior trip in the morning, and had an excellent time. Our guides (I forgot their names- but one might have been Tiago?) were fantastic and full of energy and fun stories for our two children— they also make sure to speed up and jump the waves in a safe but fun way (although I would not recommend bringing any infants on this trip). Highly recommend the tour- the coastline is beautiful and suitable for the entire family! Was a highlight of our trip.

Thanks for the awesome boat ride! It was probably the highlight of our stay in the Algarve. Getting to see the beautiful rocky cliffs and caves from a unique perspective! What a delight! And quite exhilarating too when you actually go inside the caves! The tour guide was very friendly and quite funny too. If you go to Carvoeiro you have to take this boat trip ;-)

It was a pleasure to sail with Alex, guide tour and the skilled Captain. The caves and sea views were amazing. The history of the places and imaginery figures on the rocks were amazing.

Tiago and Diogo, our guide and captain were excellent. Some of the caves we went into looked treacherous but they were handled with ease. It was great to see things from a different perspective. Most of what we saw we didn’t realize was even there when we did the hike on the coast. Thanks for a great day!!

We took the tour with Gonzalo and the captain, two young funny funny guys. We had a wonderful time. We saw the cages, heard the stories.

This was a great hour and half in depth boat tour of the Lagoa caves. The two tour guides captain T and Alex were professional, courteous and extremely informative of the area. Captain Ty’s handling of the boat was that of an extremely experienced boater. They demonstrated safety and maneuverability of the boat for the comfort of all six passengers. We look forward to returning next year with members of our family to enjoy the experience we had.

The trip with Alex was super amazing! A nice experience, lots of laughter and excitement. I recommend it to anyone who wants to experience a great adventure and see something beautiful!

What an exceptional trip this was. To see and experience this stunning coastline was incredible. Fabio, our skipper, was an expert at navigating through awesome cave formations that the larger boats cannot access. Sanchez our guide was so knowledgeable and informative and kept us spellbound. The boat tour was a very good experience for us! We bought the tickets at the Carvoeiro beach and started the boat tour at the beach. I suggest to book it online as the time we wanted was sold out. Our tour guide was Sanchez and the captain was Diego/Tiago/Santiago ( sorry can't remember exactly his name) Sanchez was very knowledgeable about the places/caves and his very funny too! The captain was very good manoevuring the boat. We got in and out of the caves safely and easily. We highly recommend the boat tour. We really enjoyed the boat tour especially my son!

Sanchez and Pedro were great guides. Sanchez was entertaining and explained the caves nicely. I had expected to get a little wet from spray but it was a completely dry ride. You do leave your shoes behind and there is a couple of inches of water to step in getting on and off the boat. The morning sun really made the cliffs look colorful.

My experience with Carvoeiro Caves boat tour was absolutely amazing! Departing from the beautiful Carvoeiro beach made the trip even more perfect. The beauty of the Algarve coastline was truly breathtaking, passing by lovely spots like Boneca and Algar Seco. The sandy shores of Vale Covo and Benagil were absolutely stunning, especially the magnificent Benagil cave with its natural skylight. The boat itself was comfortable, and the crew was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, pointing out interesting sights throughout the journey. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Carvoeiro - it was so much fun! Do not miss it when you are visiting the Algarve.

We drove to Carvoeiro Beach and managed to get tickets at 10.40 for the 11 am tour. 6 of us in the Boat along with 3 staff. Diego, our guide, was terrific. Because of the size of the boat, we could get in and out of all caves easily where larger boats couldn't. It was about an hour going out and 30 minutes back. Highly recommend this tour.

Tour was amazing. Perfect weather. Tour guide Sanchez was brilliant and captain pedro was also. Spoke great English which was brilliant for us ans constantly checked it everyone was okay. Great laugh full recommend

We all really enjoyed this trip. We were lucky to have the most perfect weather, but this was undoubtedly enhanced by the incredible views, comfortable boat, Alex the wonderful guide, and Fabio the fabulous skipper. This is a trip definitely worth doing.
