Honestly it was pretty miserable. The Big Buses are open air on the top and when we got on the sheltered bottom was completely full so we had to sit on the top with constant rain and wind most of the day. We got off at Westminster Cathedral and had to pay $150 for our party for a tour slot 1.5 hours later. We had a difficult time finding any restaurant with open tables, and after a $120 mediocre lunch got in to see the cathedral for a self guided tour that was crawling with people to the point that we couldn't even get thru the cathedral. We got back out in the rain and to a Hoho bus which was totally packed with standing room only. We went to the Royal Palace and got off to see the royal guards from a distance but that was about we could find to do. At this point we had enough of the Hoho nightmare, found a subway and took a train back near our hotel. My advice is to find a better bus tour that's not overbooked with covered busses and hopefully your experience will be better than ours.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPPORT! I also cannot believe they do not have a phone number you can call for customer support. I been talking to bot!. Our plan change due to our flight getting delayed and requested a refund. I’ve submitted at least three email inquires and did not receive a response back. The “Live Chat” option is just you talking to the bot. If you get “disconnected” for few minutes the bot will say “I will jump off now from this conversation” It been a week since my refund inquiry and still not resolution

We had a good time until this afternoon had dinner at Hard Rock Cafe we’re done by 6 A bus was there but said we had to get another bus a bus turn 2 blocks from red 2 stop another bus cone and said he was only taking people to hotels on west side of London. He said our only option to walk to 30 John Islip The Westminster Hotel. We had already walked 8 plus miles today we were looking forward to bus ride to Westminster bridge. Very disappointed after the previous drivers had been helpful. No mention on the app the buses had quit running for the day 😳😢

We rode the bus for almost an hour before they told us that we couldn’t get to a few of the stops because of road closures. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time. We ended up taking the tube to the stops we wanted to go to, which was way easier. The bus wasn’t worth the money.

Anyone can drive a bus around London so the commentary is critical and The Big Red Bus commentary is trivial, sometimes just stupid and with no history of this amazing historic city. Take any other but not this one.

We had a beautiful day weather wise and it was so easy to hop and offf, buses run on time and the wait is not long. We got to see a lot during our stay without wasting time and money

Very little commentary about the sites.obnoxios music milostly filled the airwaves. We paid extra for the "night tour only to find out it was the same as the red route only run later in the evening. There are hundreds if not 1000s of points of interest and the had some sites seen at least 3 or 4 times during thoseir looped toures. Most off the help was not helpful.

We are a big fan of off / on bus tours in new cities… this one in London still worked, but the construction/ traffic was really tough this time. Not a live commentary but recorded , I get it, a large international city so head phones it was… but really kinda of cheesy with multiple voices, “ ages” .. no thank you. Give me the facts and no silliness….

Not a great time app broken and marked our 48hours as completed although not even started. Very disappointing Description clearly stated we could activate whenever we want to. Please fix up the error!

The tour was amazing. After figuring out which bus stops actually were also the hop-on-hop off stops it was so easy to navigate. We rode from stop 9 which was a short 5 minute walk from our hotel to stop 16 which was the tower bridge stop. The free earbuds allowed us to learn a lot about the sights as we drove by and which stop we were coming up to. It was beautiful sitting on the top in the open air! Best way to get a quick overview of things you may want to see - make a note then ride on it until you want to get off and get a closer look!!

A wonderful and relaxing way to see all of the sites in London! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the first stop we hopped on to the end. We were also lucky enough to sit behind Andy A. another staff member who overheard us having trouble finding some of the iconic buildings and who then politely pointed out all of the sites and anecdotes about each one until we hopped off— such a treat!

This is our second trip to London. We decided to do a big red bus tour to remind ourselves of the lay of the land. They are doing street work all over London right now, so to get anywhere on any kind of a bus most of all a bus full of tourist Took forever. We were only able to see 6 stops in 2 hours.. . AND we made the same circle twice. We finally got off and figured out how to walk the areas we wanted to see. There are two areas that the big bus covers. A blue line and a red line. We never made it to the blue line. When we attempted to get on at a different stop, the bus operator told us it would take approximately 2 to 2 1/2 hours to get back in our neighborhood. Save your money and sign up for a small area walking tour. It is very crowded this time of year.

This is an Excellent way to get around or sit back and enjoy the ride. We found they came on time and with the frequency we had hoped.
