The history of a Charro was amazing. Learned how to rope cattle was awesome. Our tour guide was very friendly and helpful.

It was an amazing experience, we learned about the incredible history of charros. Our tour guide Jorge Torres was not just a knowledgeable charro himself but also an accomplished singer. After teaching us how to mount and ride their beautiful horses, he sung and played his guitar for us. It was all in all, an unforgettable experience. If you love culture, history and music then this is a must!

Historia, familia, y puro orgullo charro Mexicano! This experience is a historic walk down memory lane to honor the traditional Mexican horse show experience in Guadalajara. The funnest part is learning the tricks of how to laso and ride a horse. The history lesson can be shorter, but nonetheless very informative.

Wonderful experience that is a must do if you visit Guadalajara! Jorge and the charros give you a great experience rich in history and real world experiences of the charro lifestyle. You become a charro/a for the day and end with a beautiful nostalgic serenade with of course some of Jalisco’s finest tequila! Jorge was an amazing guide and so knowledgeable! I was a little nervous going on my own but he made it so easy to enjoy. Definitely, a must-do while in Guadalajara! I went on a Tuesday but I heard a good day to go was on Sunday. Anyways, Jorge was great and has an amazing voice and I would love to come back to this experience.

This was a wonderful experience. Jorge Torres is not only an authentic charro but also an up and coming singer. He clearly poured his soul into ensuring everyone had a good time and got a glimpse of the culture of charros and Mexico. The site is recognized by UNESCO as a heritage worthy of recognition. We are experienced riders in the US (so no need for the little ride) but we found the tour was more than worth the time and money. We will keep rooting for Jorge’s fame and fortune now!

Such a great experience. Jorges the host is an actual Charro. He provided us with the history and then showed us how to lasso and finally got to ride a beautiful horse. It was followed by drinks and a special performance by Jorges. I had so much fun and highly recommended taking this tour. You get to experience a real traditional Mexican activity which is part of the culture.

Entre Charros was an amazing experience for young and old alike. Jorge and Manuel did an excellent job giving us history, cultural impact, and importance of charros not only in Mexico but around the world. We traveled with two teenagers and I was very proud of how interested they were and how much they participated in the tour. I recommend it for youths so they spend less screen time and more time socializing in th Real world. Bring a snack as there is no food and some people may get hangry after 2-3 hours. In addition, be prepared to rope and ride and get your hands a little dirty. Enjoy your charro tour!

We were there in December 2023 coming from Germany when we were in Guadalajara for a few days. It was a great experience to get to know the Charro culture. Our guide Jesus did a great job and he lives the tradition. Even after the official part was over, we were allowed to continue riding the horses and practicing with the lasso as long as we wanted. I highly recommend this tour and you get a lot for the entrance fee. I would do the tour again at any time because you immediately feel welcome and at home. Many thanks to our tour guide Jesus.

Jorge Torres was our Charro trainer. Excellent! Learned about the history of Charreria, got to ride the horse and we had a great time. After that Jorge played the guitar and sang. I recommend this to everyone visiting Gudalajara.

My family really enjoyed it. The charreada itself was a little quiet because it was a school competition instead of adults (they were out of town that weekend) but overall the family enjoyed the experience to learn about this tradition.

This was an amazing experience! Jorge Torres was an exceptionally informative, funny, and friendly guide. Charro history and culture is fascinating and beautiful and this tour helped us to understand it more fully and experience it as beginners in a welcoming environment. Sharing tequila, chatting and listening to Jorge’s incredible music at the end was a highlight of the tour. I cannot recommend this cultural tour highly enough!
