Went with my partner for our first time scuba diving. I've always wanted to try scuba diving and when I read up on Viator at the various diving centres, this one had the best reviews and seemed to give the best experience. Unfortunately when we completed the medical forms, my partner did not meet the criteria due to taking prescription medication for diabetes. The staff said we could contact Viator for a partial refund. Perhaps this health questionnaire could be completed in advance to avoid disappointment? This is the only reason I cannot give 5 stars. I had a fantastic time and Bart made me feel very comfortable from the start. He made sure I felt comfortable before diving down. They did let my partner take part by snorkeling in the area we were diving which she also enjoyed. The water was crystal clear and we seen many different species of fish. I felt very comfortable the entire time which Bart commenter on at the end. When visiting Lanzarote I will definitely be back here, next time my partner will get a doctors letter so she can also dive!

By far the most fascinating experience of my life. I had an amazing time with Steve, the instructor, who is very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable from start to finish. A bit anxious at first, but I then managed to focus on the breathing and I was able to fully enjoy my day without any issues. Highly recommend this company and the friendly staff.

My daughter (15yrs old) decided that she wanted to do the PADI open water whilst on holiday in Lanzarote . I cannot praise highly enough the staffs professionalism and the friendly manner in which they approach the whole learning process. Initially my daughter was adamant that she didn't want to do the open water portion on her own, but after chatting with Bob and then Damian for a bit was put at ease and allowed to proceed at a pace she was comfortable with . Damian was meticulous from the start in his approach with the number 1 priority being the safety checks . This set her immediately at ease knowing that absolutely nothing was left to chance or rushed . All the disciplines were practiced in the pool , then transferred to open water where applicable , only when she was comfortable, and only then . She loved the entire process , Damian and the team were absolutely brilliant from the start and I would highly recommend them both to learners and licensed divers alike . I also got to go with her on her first full open water dive at the Musea Atlantico ... It really was the highlight of the holiday . Thanks again and see you all in October

I had never scuba dived before so was unsure what to expect. Bart and the team were excellent, so thorough and professional. I did the try dive front the shore and loved it so much I went back a second day for a follow up dive which was off a boat. It was incredible. Seeing all the wildlife up close under the water was amazing, I am planning and getting my certification when I get home! I will definitely call back the next time I come to Lanzarote. Highly recommend

I am an open water diver and booked 3 dives with the college, hiring equipment. All 3 dives were excellent, with great experienced guides that made me feel entirely comfortable and knew the dive sites very well. The equipment was all in great condition and everything is well maintained. I saw a wide range of wildlife and will remember my dives forever. However! The most remarkable thing was my kid's try-dives. My 17 y/o son completed one and now wants to do his open-water. My 9 y/o was very nervous, and the truly lovely Aurelie took her under her wing and persevered to such an extent with her. She spent such a long time making sure that my daughter had the amazing experience that Aurelie knew she could have, despite being very nervous. Aurelie absolutely made my daughters holiday, and she's still talking about her. A wonderful dive school for all abilities, run by people that really care and love the ocean.

I took part in the discover scuba dive today with my partner and teenage daughter. We were collected from our hotel by Damo and taken to the dive centre where we were given clear and well delivered safety instructions. We then suited up and were taken into shallow water where we practiced our breathing and only went deeper when ready. There were at least 5 well trained instructors in the water with us and our group of about 10. We were constantly monitored and helped where needed. My partner successfully managed diving but my daughter and I did not despite the best encouragement from instructors. This was not a problem for the instructors who were very patient and understanding and instead showed us how to get the most out of the experience while staying close to the surface. We did see plenty of sealife. If in Playa Blanca and looking to try scuba diving I would highly recommend Damo and this team, they were all amazingly helpful, patient and great at what they do.

My daughter was very nervous of deep water, however,was competent at snorkeling. She had many questions fielded expertly by the staff. The man with the beard (didn't catch his name) was so helpful in deciding which package was right for us. When we arrived the lady who took us through the safety briefing allayed any remaining fears, the fact that she wore a jedi dry towel made her a kindred spirit. Stephano was fabulous this was my first dive in 30 years and I had forgotten how heavy the equipment was. He guided my daughter and I down and showed us interesting things. She is now hooked. We look forward forward to our next dive

I did the 6m beginner dive and I enjoyed it so much that came back the next day to do the museum tour at 12m. The team was super friendly, they explained everything thoroughly, and I felt safe/ looked after at all times. Highly recommended place to start diving, if you have ever considered it 😊

Absolutely amazing experience. All staff professional and there is a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere there. You can laugh with these guys and it puts you very much at ease. I tired scuba diving for the first time at Dive college in October 2021 I was so nervous but these guys are patient. My stomach had butterflies. I had a free trial in the pool first and then a try dive. I always felt safe and looked after. I was so at ease after my first experience I came back for more in April 2022 and did another try dive and the Museum Atlantico loved it. So BACK I came again this year and have done the Flamingo wall dive. Even though still an amateur I was guided by a professional diver and it is so beautiful under the ocean. These guys are AMAZING please try it. No one could possibly have been more nervous about it than me. I DID IT not just once but 3 times. I'm coming back for more in November. Had an amazing time definitely very much a BUNCH OF SPECIAL people, to me ANYWAY.

We're currently on our way back to our hotel with the transfer option they have available. It was a great experience and the under water museum was fantastic. The staff were professional, polite, accommodating and a laugh to be around. Myself and my partner highly recommend them and the museum Atlantic. We looked through all the reviews beforehand, which most negative ones seem to expect a refund because they can't tolerate the activity. If in doubt I'd suggest doing a try dive before deciding if you want to spend the extra money for a more intense experience. Thank you Dive College and all your staff for an unforgettable experience. Incredible experience, the team from Dive College Lanzarote made it even better and I recommend it for everyone who wants to try the scuba for the first time- good communication and professionalism. I dived with the Dive College in March 2023 at Playa Blanca and also their sister Dive Centre Dive Safari at Puerto Del Carmen. The diving was great: the dive guides were excellent with thorough briefings and were very safe. The dive sites were varied and I would thoroughly recommend these guys and diving in Lanzarote generally which I hope to do again!

Paid for the Museo Atlantico for beginners which was not cheap at all. Conducted a half-hour induction and we went to sea. I felt unwell and stopped the tour. I came out of the sea, changed clothes, asked about a refund and asked if they could take me to the hotel. The money was not returned and I was not taken to the hotel.Crazy place, dont wast your money.

I completed my Open Water Diving certificate at the age of 73 and found that the help and friendliness of the staff went a long way to me achieving this. The dive college is always busy but the staff are always very friendly, knowledgeable and nothing is too much for them, even though at times I felt apprehensive. I will not single out any one member of the staff as every one is totally committed to every customer young or old that they are put at ease going into the water. I am looking forward to returning next February to continue the fantastic experience diving. The old geordie git

Sometimes you take a risk on a company that you know nothing about - and I did this with the dive college and WOW - the risk paid off. My 12 year old son, recently Padi junior open water qualified. This was his first dive post qualifying and it would not have been with a better, more organised, safety-conscious and generally absolutely awesome company. From pick up to the instructor to providing photos afterwards. Highly recommend

I have just completed my PADI Open Water Diver course at the Dive College, Lanzarote. I really enjoyed the experience and I especially recommend Steve Smith, an absolutely great diving instructor- Steve is very experienced, nothing was a problem, he explained everything very well and was a calming and enabling support underwater. He is also great company. The Dive College is a busy diving centre. It’s very well set up- on the waters edge, there is plenty of equipment and all new - as well as two ribs. The Dive College is well staffed -all the staff are very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable - & the staff all speak several languages. I would highly recommend the Dive College Lanzarote for a PADI course, a dive - as a beginner or as a certified diver, or to have staff from the Dive College bring you to visit the Museo Atlantico. They have a programme of dives you can undertake. Ask for Steve -instructor extraodinaire !!. With thanks Steve👍
