Well, what can I say if you are a Downton Abbey fan? This is a MUST SEE. Buy the all-day pass and better yet get tickets to the Sunday Tea. The house is a self-tour so you can spend as much time as you like in the rooms. What you see on TV is what you will see in the house. Friendly guides along the way to give you some inside information. Walk the grounds and soak it in. You might even see Lady of the manor walking her dogs (we did). The Egyptian Museum in the basement is very interesting since Lord Carnarvon found King Tut's tomb. To top it off make the drive to the town of Bampton to see the village location. Well worth the 1.5 hour drive if you love DA.Had an absolutely amazing experience. David and Isobel were excellent hosts. Really enjoyed the day from start to finish
