Amazing bike tour, with the connectable gps + audio guide : top very nice day, when we come back to Corfu we sure come back for another trip ! personnal very sympatycal

As soon as I heard about Corfu Fat Bikes in Acharavi I knew this was for me. I enjoy a spin out on an ebike, I love getting to out of the way places in North Corfu and I needed to get away from the rat race. I was supplied with my bike, helmet, gloves, a lock and a pannier to stash everything away. After a run through the bike operation and the navigation system with Matt and Steve I headed off to the beach section, a nice place to stop for a bit of a seaview before heading for the hills. It's not long before you start climbing away from traffic and upwards through the cool of the olive groves and more great views. There's an option to divert to a monastery, for me it was well worth the climb back out. Incredibly peaceful and wonderful views from the cemetery. Before turning off for Nymfes it might be worth filling your bottle with spring water from taps nearby, it was very popular with locals pulling over and filling up. The falls themselves were flowing nicely into a crystal clear pool which was teaming with tadpoles. The steps down are a rustic adventure but manageable. Further down the road I spent a while stalking frogs and toads in another small pool. After this the ride down to Episkepsi is just wonderful, enough gravel track to satisfy my inner mountain biker, more breathtaking views and the feel of the wind in your hair as you free wheel your way down. I have to say the bikes are great, easy to ride and well maintained. The navigation system worked really well with plenty of places of interest flagged up. The tour itself is well thought out and everything I wanted from my day. The equipment supplied is good quality and thought out well. I'd generally expect a helmet, but gloves and pannier were cherries on the cake. Customer service is of the highest quality and Matt is super passionate about his tours and this comes through in what he provides. I'm so looking forward to doing another tour and I would highly recommend Corfu Fat Bikes as a must do for the places it takes you to.

Booked whilst we were in Corfu in April, such a great experience. I haven’t ridden a bike in years but they were so simple to use and they really helped you up the hills! We did the Corfu Nymfes Tour as Mike recommended it was a good time of year to see the waterfall. It was lovely and we saw roads / views you would only see on a bike! The navigation system was really easy and lets you know if have gone off course. Mike & Gerry are both very passionate about the business and all the small details that have been thought about really shows. Highlight of our holiday!

We loved every minute! A chance to ride through and see "real" corfu at your own pace with the security of being guided along the whole route by a bespoke navigation system. The bikes are brilliant we reached places we would never have thought possible. Neither of us had ever ridden an electric bike but under the owner Matts clear instruction found it very easy and great fun. Highly recommend!

We’re just back from the most amazing ride which took us high up into the hills and then back down in the afternoon to a gorgeous sandy beach. The waterfall was beautiful as was all the scenery and it really felt like you were seeing ‘the real Corfu’. And oh my word!! The bikes are pure magic!! You don’t even break a sweat and you can really motor if you choose. Some of the terrain was like proper off-roading but with the massive tyres it was completely comfortable and not a bone shaker as it would be on any normal mountain bike. Matt was so helpful before we booked and even got us from Kassiopi this morning which was fantastic. Today was a total highlight to our long weekend away and we will definitely be doing another tour when we are back next year. There were so many tours to choose from - I can’t wait to do it next time. Thank you.

This was by far the best experience I ever had on the beautiful Island of Corfu! Matt the owner was very helpful and passionate about his business. The route drove is through great nature with some lovely tavernas. I must do while on holiday on Corfu!!!

The business is on the island of Corfu, but not in the same town/city where cruise ships dock. Our mistake. However, it was worth the taxi (90 minutes rountrip) to find this lovely area on the north end of the island. We made a wrong turn and never made it to the mountain area, which I’m sure was great. But our beach ride was great. These bikes, with an assist to get moving, are fantastic. The proprietor did a good job of explaining the features to us. I took a foto of the bike so I could look to buy one on my return to Catalunya.

We had an amazing day, my husband and I who had experienced fat bikes before and our two friends who had no experience (one had not been on a bike for over 15 years!) We managed two tours in one day and covered 50kms. We were able to take our time and enjoy all the incredible views, we did a little detour to the waterfalls and finished the day with the most beautiful cycle along the coast. We will definitely return to do more tours.

Suggested to my wife we do this. She is a non cyclist and had a bit of trepidation but she absolutely loved it and can’t wait to go again. Routes and navigation work so well and so easy. The large screen was great and the information and instructions were really useful covering historic sites and good places for food and drink stops. The bike was really comfortable and easy to ride, battery life was plenty for the day. Matt and team were really friendly and couldn’t do enough to make sure we had a great experience. I thoroughly recommend Corfu Fat Bikes - it’s a great way to see the real villages and countryside of the beautiful island of Corfu!

A great day out and a must do experience - bikes were new and sooo easy to use. Loved the GPS e-guide to go at your own pace and again easy to use. Loved the quiet country roads and local village taverna stops! Thanks to Matt the owner for everything- we loved it all!

This was a great activity to do on holiday; the bikes made it so easy that you don't feel like you are doing a workout! You get off the beaten track and into the real Corfu cycling through beautiful countryside where you can hear the silence see wonderful views. Most of it is on quiet roads/ off road but there are bits where you have to go along busier roads.

Absolutely worth all the effort of getting four 19-22 year olds up at 8am so my wife and I could get us all over to Acharavi for a 9:30 am start. I cycle regularly, and my 21yr old son, who has accompanied me on a few cycling trips, reckons our self-guided off-road tour on E-FatBikes was the most fun he has ever had on two wheels. My wife is not a keen cyclist, nor a happy cyclist, nor a good cyclist - got the picture? - but I think she has the essential spirit of a cyclist, and has already said we should do it again next September when we are back in Kassiopi. Although the rest of us all had a blinding time, I was still surprised that my wife was prepared to do it again. If you knew my wife and cycling, you'd know that speaks volumes. The bikes are quite heavy, not handling in the same way as regular bikes, but you soon adapt and, given how hilly it is around Acharavi, even regular cyclists will appreciate the assistance when the gradient wants you to get off and walk. Just take it easy coming down hills on corners, they don't turn well, so slow right up. Having said that, the upside is massive, as the best fun is to be had off-road, even on sand, when those massive tyres and e-assistance really comes into its own. Oh, and I've just remembered, following whichever route you have decided to take is made totally idiot-proof, as the trip is loaded onto a GPS screen attached to the handlebars. We were a group of six, and apart from my lovely wife, an exceedingly smart Consultant Gynaecologist (albeit a crap cyclist), we were still a group of 5 average idiots, and we all managed to cycle our chosen route without ever getting lost. No, my wife was always at the back so we weren't being helped at all by her smarts. I'd never used an e-bike before, and it really does make you feel like a proper athlete, but without all the sweat and pain of actually being one. Give it a go.
