The entire experience was mind blowing. Booked the tour to give my teens something “educational” on our weekend jaunt. Did not expect to be swept away into a surreal reliving of a slice of history. Completely totally due to our tour guide, Nick (also a history professor and writer). We learned the real facts behind the propaganda news of that time. The angst on both sides, the nail biting drama, the frustration and fury … 2.5 hrs simply was not enough time for the unfurling. I think Nick went over our time but we were literally hanging onto every word and was rather distraught as we were left on a cliffhanger. He did warn us that what we would only cover a “10-year slice of history” — the events that led up to the Revolutionary War. Even my teens were “what! It’s over”?!! Thank you, Nick!

Our guide, Drew, was absolutely fantastic. He was so knowledgeable, while also being a very enthusiastic storyteller. He had his audience captivated for the entire 2.5hr tour. I’ve done many walking tours before in other cities, and in Boston, and this was the best one by far.

Nick with his outstanding expertise in American history gave us an very interesting and at the same time entertaining insight of the fight for American liberty by the Bostonians. The group site was absolutely perfect and there was room for questions and further explanations. Top recommendation! Best choice!

I highly recommend this tour. Boston is a busy historic city. Our excellent guide Nick provided great information about the Revolutionary period in Boston. We would never have garnered as much detail taking the Freedom Trail on our own. He was engaging, professional and very knowledgeable about the history of Boston. Highly recommended!

Drew was very knowledgeable. He is a theater major and is very passionate. I was worried about the walk but it wasn't as bad as I thought. The pace was good and you stop along the way to see the sights. We were able to sit down several times which gave us a break. I would recommend this trip.

Our Guide, Leah, made the experience seem personal to her and then transferred that to us. She never shied from questions and was a font of historical antidotes. What could have been "recited again" became alive and important. She has a talent and shared it freely with us. In general, I found it the perfect way to experience the taste of the Historical Boston so I would know what I wanted to come back and experience further on my own.

Fast paced comprehensive tour. Our guide, Rosalie was outstanding. She imparted a wealth of meaningful information in a very clear presentation that helped put things into context while being humorous when appropriate. She always asked whether there were any questions and was genuinely engaged with the group. Her portraits of the major players and her explanation of their roles and the map of Boston in revolutionary times she used greatly added to the presentation. A very enjoyable and informative 3 hours! It was well worth the price and we highly recommend it.
