Attending smile organic cooking class was an extraordinary experience! Our guide Julie was sensational — her warm welcome and extensive knowledge made us feel right at home. The class included a visit to a local market and a home garden, adding an authentic touch to the cooking process. We learned to prepare a variety of dishes, including spring rolls, soup, Pad Thai, salad, and Mango Sticky Rice. But one was able to chose many different options. Each dish was a delight, and the cooking process was both educational and fun. Julie’s clear and patient teaching style made it easy for everyone to follow along. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a positive and memorable experience. We highly recommend Julie and her cooking class to anyone seeking an exceptional culinary adventure.

Had the most amazing day at this class. Julie our instructor was so friendly, welcoming and funny and made it really simple to follow along with the recipes. Learnt so much about how they grow and prepare their food, made 6 different dishes including a curry, a soup, spring rolls, a salad and a dessert, which you are able to choose from a whole menu of dishes depending on your preference. We also got to make the curry paste and had a Thai herbal tea. We were able to eat the food throughout the day or take it home instead. There were 12 of us in the class but Julie made sure to pay attention to everyone and get the whole group chatting and involved. Would recommend this class to everyone, great value for money and an unforgettable experience. Thank you so much!!

What a great experience my sister and I had with our group and our instructor; "LOVE". I lived in Bangkok for a long time and have cooked thai dishes before using cook books which are often not true versions. It was fun watching and cooking at SMILE COOKING SCHOOL who use authentic recipes. I would highly recommend this activity when visiting Chiang Mai and especially at this cooking school. L.C

Experience with smile organic farming cooking school was amazing Our instructor “Cici” was pretty cool and amazing..She taught us various delirious dishes like fried rice, spring rolls, hot and creamy soup, green curry and paste, papaya salad, mango sticky rice. They took us to local market and taught us about all those ingredients which we had to use in our today’s class and then we went to their farm for our cooking lessons..There they grow vegetables, flowers, etc.. I would specially give credit to the whole team for their management- starting from the cab pick up and drop service, asking about allergies and consuming the travel time by explaining the dishes, to systematic arrangement of the cooking material arranged side by side and cleaning the table as soon as one dish gets over and preparing the counter for the next set of dishes. They have all the basic amenities like washroom, hand wash basin, separate area for keeping our luggage, etc Well done👍🏻 Kudos to the team of smile organic farming cooking class👍🏻👍🏻

The cooking class was a lot of fun! ☺️ The time went by really quickly because we cooked so many different dishes. My whole group was in a good mood too. I would definitely recommend it!

This experience was great, a tour into Thai food and culture. You get to walk in the garden where they grow their plants, know their seasoning and learn some recipes. Lily was super cool, she is a good teacher. I would definitely recommend this tour.

I loved the way in which Lily teach us to do the typical thai food, the pad thai, the soups, the mango sticky Rice and all the other things. The Place Is very beautifull too!

Cannot recommend this enough - thought it would be touristy but is a great Thai cooking experience in a beautiful farm setting. All the staff were excellent, hilarious, and attentive. Our team chef was Julie for the full day and she was so knowledgable, funny, charismatic, and you could tell she loved her job and the people she met doing it. Everyone we met doing it were lovely and we all had a great time throughout! Thank you Julie!!

Fun experience learning about local produce, visiting a market to learn about ingredients we were expecting to look for before heading to cooking school where we also toured the garden where they grew all (most) of their fresh herbs, fruits and vegetables. Our tour guide Julie was fun and made the whole experience informative and enjoyable. I had a wonderful group to enjoy the Thai cuisine experience. Definitely would recommend this tour in Chiang Mai.

This is one of the most amazing experiences I have done since travelling across Australia, Africa and South East Asia. Very much enjoyed cooking a variety of Thai meals in such a fun, relaxing and beautiful setting. Julie led our classic and I couldn’t recommend her or the class more :)

I went with a couple girlfriends and we had such an amazing time learning about and cooking thai food! For the full day we made 5 dishes and even picked some of our own ingredients in the garden! I would totally recommend this place!

I have lived here for 9 years but felt like doing a cooking class. The class is well organised and everything is explained in detail. You get to look around their garden which is full of herbs and flowers. You are assigned your own cooking station and can cook each dish to your own liking and take home what you can’t eat! Overall a fun day and learnt a lot.
