I loved because we stopped in places where Dutch people like to eat or shop! Bo has great sense of humor and extensive knowledge in history and architecture. Makes you love Dutch people!

Our tour guide did a wonderful job of talking about our food and also talking a bit about the feel of Amsterdam. Our tour was one of the highlights of our trip. I would recommend it to my friends.

My husband was off for business so i decided to make the most of my day. What a good way to spend an afternoon. We started with strudel and then went to a deli and tried different sausages. They were local sausages and were delicious. After that we went to a restaurant for a rice table( small Asian bites) . Also very good. Then we went to a cheese shop and sampled local cheeses. Our final stop was a bar where we tried the local drink Ginaveer. Each place offered us beer or wine. Also we got information about Amsterdam and history about WW1 and how locals survived the Natzi infiltration. Very educational. The guide was excellent.

Catharina gave us a tasting and past & present history tour of Amsterdam to remember, visiting places hard to find on your own.

This was the worst food tour I’ve ever been on. For €110/pp we got a slice of apple pie, 3 small pieces of meat at a butcher shop, a chicken skewer and small dish at an Indonesian stop, small stroopwaffle and piece of chocolate, a cheese platter with 4 samples, one bitterball. Hard to believe that they didn’t offer a chance to try herring or eel which are the most popular Dutch foods! Our guide was great and we did this because it was highly rated in a Rick Steves book but they are clearly living off that. Save your money.

Our Guide, Marc, was fantastic. We stopped in local establishments for wine & cheese, beer & sausages, chocolate & stroopwaffels, and more. The walking was good but not too much - many historical sites along the way

The tour was nicely paced. The tastings were delicious! The history was a wonderful addition. We were pleased to have a choice of beer, wine or other. The small group (there were 4 couples on our tour) was a bonus. Would definitely do this tour again and would highly recommend this wonderful taste of Amsterdam!

Wonderful tour. The guide was great. The group was small so the experience was personal. The food was great. You get enough to count as a meal.

Rene’ was outstanding. The tour was informative touching on historical aspects of the city that aren’t as well known. It was well paced and we went to locally owned shops that catered to the neighborhood rather than relied on tourism traffic. The food was exceptional and enough that you looked forward to the next stop but you didn’t go away hungry. I would highly recommend this tour. Rene (a well travelled and classically trained chef) brought a perspective on food and flavors that I did not expect from a tour guide. Each of the shops / restaurants we visited welcomed us and clearly had a good relationship with Rene. Worth every penny.

Catarina gave us an amazing food tour of Amsterdam. The tour included diverse tastings such as apple pie, herring and eel, Indonesian sate, bitterballen, beer and genever to name just some of the food and drinks. Catarina was engaging and had a great sense of humor. She made the tour great fun.

Today, we had a wonderful food tour with Rudolph. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Amsterdam and he was entertaining. We went to five different eating establishments and each had a menu with varying Dutch flair and great food. We highly recommend this tour.

Rudolf was our history and food guide. We enjoyed all the restaurants we ate at. This would have been a great way to start our trip instead of doing this at the end. Rudolf knows his history and is a great guide.

We sampled apple pie, sausages, high quality cheese paired with wine, a rice table, & regional “meatballs” and gin. The food was high quality. The guide (his first time) was knowledgeable & shared a lot of information about the culture as well as the food. There was only one other couple on our tour & it was nicely paced.

Loved the variety of food that represented the history and culture of Amsterdam. Our guide, Isabelle, also provided personal attention to our individual needs and enhanced the tour with rich history of the city as we walked.
