Bruno our tour guide was exceptional! He was fun and knowledgeable. He made sure every tour member was having a great day! I really enjoyed seeing the Quinta da Regaleira. Lunch was delicious. Thank you!

Besides how much we saw that is so different from places in the US, the most surprising thing was how much climbing up and down hills and stairs we did. It's very photogenic except inside the artificial caves. The ride to Sintra is very nice once getting outside of Lisbon. Being with a small group definitely helps. Having an outstanding guide and driver like Tiago really makes a difference. I definitely recommend doing the optional lunch stop as that was a unique experience itself. Touring Cascais was also very enjoyable.

We were a group of 6 people above 65 who did the tour with Bart. This is a 10 hr tour with reasonable physical activity. Some of us were slightly physically challenged and Bart dealt with us with utmost patience and care throughout the day and completed the tour beyond what is in the description of the tour. We will recommend this tour with is youngman to everyone who is interested.

Traveling to new places is always exciting, but seeing the beauty of Portugal through the eyes of a local tour guide makes it even more special. Marta Carvalho made our experiences come alive. Sintra was magical. The castles and gardens were beautiful and standing on the farthest spot west of Europe, Cabo de Roca was special. Marta was the key to our enjoying these beautiful towns. She was informative, extremely professional and by the end of our day we felt like we'd known her for years and that she was more than just our guide, she was our friend. We highly recommend SPR Tours and if you're lucky, Marta will be your guide.

The guide Bruno was good, he explained everything, also gave time to the older folks for resting time.

We loved our tour guide, Alex; he was extremely knowledgeable and personable. The sites were impressive and lived up to the online description. However, we had issues with the administrative aspects of this tour. First, it should simply state up-front that the lunch is included. The restaurant we stopped at was off the beaten path, and there were no practical alternatives. Our group spent too much time discussing this with Alex, which put him in an awkward spot. In addition, Alex had to coordinate the logistics of combining our group with another group riding in a different van, which resulted in our spending too much time waiting for stragglers, and extending the tour about an hour. (Apparently the company was short on tour guides that day--two on vacation, one out sick.) Overall we enjoyed the day, but we felt that the organization and communication could have been better.

Pedro did a great job leading the tour. He was an endless fountain of information about the places we visited and Portugal in general. He also did a great job of avoiding crowds in Sintra. The small group was lovely. Lunch was very good as well.

Absolutely wonderful tour guide by Martha who was very knowledgeable, engaging and kind. She was the BEST. She explained all the sites and spoke with everyone in the group. Overall a great guide and a great tour. Book it.

We took this wonderful tour with SPR, and Marta was our driver and guide. She was excellent and extremely knowledgeable. The experience was very educational and I think everyone in our small tour group had a fun time. If back in the area, we would definitely use them again and certainly will recommend to friends.

Our guide /driver, Pedro, was right on time to pick us up. He was able to make all the seat arrangements for everyone on his tour. Pedro is a skillful driver! He handled our hugh Mercedes van with ease. He is knowledgeable about the history and culture of Portugal and was delivering them with ease and humour. We had made it to all locations of this tour. When my friend was having difficulty to go down a hilly lane, Pedro literally lender him his shoulder for support. The lunch that day was delicious and plentiful. Just imagine! A lunch with all the compliments, main course, wine, desserts, coffee or tea for 25 Euros!

Absolutely incredible day visiting these beautiful places outside of Lisbon. Bruno is an excellent tour guide, kept us organized and on time, gave plenty of background and history and was considerate of those with physical limitations. If you have difficulty with stairs and hills, this tour may be challenging, but all in our group were able to see and do everything with Bruno's patience and encouragement. The lunch stop was delicious. For a reasonable flat price we were served a generous three course meal with all the beverages, including wine, that you could drink. All of the sites we saw were amazing and well worth the trip. We would highly recommend this tour.

Great itinerary. Great driver who was very flexible with the groups wishes. Was a very long day, closer to 12 hours away from our hotel but worth it.

Bruno Alex was an awesome tour guide for our trip to Sintra. Very knowledgeable about the history of the area, all 2000 species of trees 🤪, the shortcuts to make the most of our day, as well local recommendations back in Lisbon. A great driver, tour guide and communicator. Hands down, request him! Also, if you are Bruno's boss, give a raise. Double his salary!

Small group experience was preferable to larger tours. Lunch was wonderful option. Long day but felt slow and relaxed. Alex did a great job driving and explaining

Very memorable day. Bart is a great guide and excellent driver. Loved the small group as it was very nice to bypass the long lineups! Everything was well organized and we even stopped at a local market for our lunch! Would certainly recommend.
