Great from start to finish. Great communication regarding our pick up location and time. Josh was right on time and we loaded into an immaculate Sprinter van. Times at each of the stops were right on. Josh was great explaining so much history about Hawaii and the volcano area. Offered water and a small snack. Even though we weren’t able to walk the Crater trail (due to seismic activity) I didn’t feel that we missed anything. Loved that the last stop was at Big Island Candies! Would highly recommend this tour and I would do it again. Thanks Josh!

We were so excited to see the volcano in Hilo and this trip exceeded all of our expectations. Jill, our guide, did an amazing job sharing all the myths and legends of the area. The geological information was easy to digest and provided an excellent learning experience. We had several stops along the way (Rainbow Falls, Gardens, Craters, etc) and at each stop. we had plenty of time to explore and take lots of pictures. Our transportation was extremely comfortable.

Had a great time hitting all key spots including a lava tube and rainbow falls. Josh was very dynamic. He kept us laughing and informed.

Our guide was also the owner. Wonderful people and so knowledgeable. She was a born in the volcano and could share her personal experiences. Just fantastic!

This was a great experience and a nice way to see a lot in a fairly short amount of time. Although I had been to the park before, I had not gone inside a lava tube so that was cool to see. Well worth our time.

We had a great time on this excursion! Our tour guide, Josh, was very knowledgeable about the island, the history and the Hawaiian folk tales about so many facets of the land and the plants and animals who inhabit the area.

Our guide was amazing! Very knowledgeable about Hilo and the islands. I had never visited the big island and wanted to see the volcano and this was the perfect trip for a day visit to see the Hilo area. The van was quite comfortable and I love having a small group on tours (we had 10 people).

Our tour guide Josh was very knowledgeable and friendly! We enjoyed our tour !!!! Seeing Mt. Kilauea was amazing!! As well as the lava tubes!!

This was an awesome well organized trip. We had an excellent time and enjoyed all of Jill’s story’s! Small group with just 11 people in a very nice spotless van.

Jill was the best tour guide ever. She was very informative, friendly and simply amazing. The trip was worth it because of despite the occasional rains and freezing temperature.

Jill did a wonderful job of narrating and guiding us to the various sites, particularly the volcano. Her knowledge and connection with the island made it much more personal experience. Adequate time and information was provided for each one of our stops. My only recommendation would be to allow participants to decide on whether or not they wanted to go to the candy store to shop. As a customer who is paying for a custom tour, we should have the option to not be taken to an unwanted stop or destination. While others in our small-group tour appreciated the opportunity to shop, providing some flexibility or variation for those who did not want to shop, would have been appreciated as well.

The tour started on time from the cruise port. Josh was an excellent tour guide and driver, easy to understand, very informative and entertaining. The vehicle was clean and spacious for a small group of 12. We saw and learned about everything as listed, plus a short stop at Big Island Candy. We would recommend it all.

Jill was waiting for us as soon as we got off the ship. She had a great day planned and we got to see it all. Her timing was spot on!
