Great tour. Very friendly. Interesting places. We also had goodies. Very informative. Excellent tourVery friendly tour guide. Not a real hop on hop off tour. Lasted 1 hour. Could arrange for delivery and pickup with the guide if you wanted to revisit one of the sites. That was very convenient. Recommend the Historic village and the Museum of History for revisits.

Unlike other "hop-on hop-off" experiences we have participated in other cities, this one does not have continuous shuttle service where you can truly"hop off" at a stop and then "hop on" at the next shuttle. Instead, if you did "hop off"- you would need to call Go Retro and have them come and pick you up. Based on this, it made more sense to not "hop off" and, instead, complete the entire tour and then drive back and visit those stops that most interested us. The time on the tour was well spent. Our tour guide was very personable and knowledgeable about the area. The freebies and discounts on the trip were appreciated. The vintage bus shown in all the literature is out of service and maybe for some time. The vintage bus shown in all the literature is out of service and maybe for some time. Tour took around 75 minutes, and included 2 stops - Joey Patti’s Seafood Restaurant for a look round and a free gelato, and JW Renfroe Pecan Co for an excellent gift shop and a free mega bag of Fairway Mix and some praline. You could get off, in particular at the historic village but in reality not sure how it would work because the docent tours in the village don’t finish until 3 at the earliest. In reality everyone stayed on the van, and then did their own thing. We drove to the historic village and did the docent tours and then came next day to do the museums included in the ticket price. We also went to the Veterans Memorial Park and the Doll’s House which were pointed out on the tour. Also in the ticket price was a list of restaurants and other attractions which offered discounts. We enjoyed a free dessert at 5 Sisters. Overall we certainly got value from our ticket despite only being in town for just over 24 hours, and thought Ivy, the tour guide, did a great job in delivering an excellent tour.
