This experience could not have been better. The brothers who own the facility are true professionals who are very kind and engaging. I’m a nervous rider and I was made to feel extremely comfortable and well cared for during the ride. The horses were friendly and gentle as well. I go horseback riding on all my trips and this was the best tour I’ve experienced. The cherry on top is that they take MANY photos and videos for you on your own device and offered to arrange for hotel pick up and drop off for a reasonable fee. I highly recommend you schedule a tour with them!

Super friendly staffs and amazing experience. You dont need any horse riding experience and you will be well taken care of. Alex and Manues even help taking nice pictures. They are experts in both horses and accomodating guests.

Our two guides, Manolis and Alexandros were amazing. They care for the horses and assure that they are calm. They also care that their guests feel safe and are having a good time. Manolis was my guide. He was warm, welcoming and very passionate about his work. By the end of our tour, I felt like I had always known him. The views were spectacular and they took lots of pics for us. They also pointed out landmarks and explained the black sand and lava. My horse’s name was Koko. He was so sweet and gentle. I would definitely visit again and recommend Effipos for the best beach horseback ride!!!!

The owner was such an amazing tour guide I was able to get lots of photos and even have a trot while learning about these gorgeous horses, I had the best time ever and would do it again in a heartbeat

I would give this experience more than 5 stars if I could. Our guide for the ride was Manos, who is maybe the most friendly person you will ever meet. I couldn't say enough about how welcoming Manos and his brother Alex were in making us feel comfortable, both at the riding center and on our horses. It was my first time on a horse and Manos made sure that I was safe and enjoying the ride every step of the way. Couldn't recommend this enough. You will love it.

Manos and Alex were incredible! My mom and I went and we both really enjoyed out sunset ride. My mom is not an experienced rider and was really nervous. The guides were so positive, encouraging and reassuring she loved her experience. The sunset ride was beautiful! Highly recommend it!

The horses were so beautiful, the scenery incredible, the guide so kind and hospitable! Well worth it! Do not forget to bring cash for a tip because they deserve it!

We had a great day with Manos and his horses! Manos is a retired jockey who now tends to his horses in Santorini. His and his brother’s horses are well looked after and trained properly. You can really tell Manos knows all of them very well. After our safety brief, we were off to the beach! Our ride on the beach was great and Manos took many picture and videos that came out well! He was very good at guiding my horse since I have little riding experience. I felt very safe and thought our ride was fun. Santorini has so many other excursions and I thought this horseback ride on the beach would be something different and it was! It was a great addition to our honeymoon!

Manos and Alex were the best. My wife never rode before and they were extremely helpful to her and made her comfortable from the start. They took photos of us through the whole trip.The horses were amazing and so well taken care of, you can tell they really love their horses.Just an amazing experience for us

It’s was very fun, the guides are experts and take good care of the animals. We visited the beach and the guides took numerous photos of us throughout the trip.

The guides were very thorough and have lots of experience with horses. They were super friendly and they take good photos too.

I rode Xenia during my Horseback riding excursion on the Black sand beach. Two Greek brothers run the Efippos riding company and both are very friendly, knowledgeable and experienced with horses. One of the brothers is a former prize winning Jockey and both have been involved with horses for most of their lives. They take Excellent care of she horses and took excellent care of us four guest riders today (3 May 2024). They gave us good instructions took nice pictures of us on the horses. What an amazing time! Alex and Manos were some of the friendliest people we have ever met and loved to share their knowledge of Santorini and Greece with us, including their own stories. They made us feel extremely comfortable on our tour (which ended up being private). You can tell they truly love their horses and what they do. I absolutely would recommend this to everyone!

The brothers who own the service are very personable and knowledgeable and care for the horses very well. My teenage daughter and I had just a little riding experience before and they were helpful for our level as well as for another guest who had been a competitive rider.

We had an INCREDIBLE experience!! Alex and Amani’s (our tour guides) were fantastic, this was my first time ever riding a horse and they made it so easy and made me feel so comfortable! I rode on Thor, and he was great, so funny. My fiancé rode on Zena, he also loved her. Such a great time!!

By far one of the most unforgettable experiences here in Greece. It’s been a dream of mine to ride horses on the black sands of Santorini—especially for me being a horse girl! Alex was fantastic! Bravo!
