Fair experience. We were disappointed to learn there was no audio version of the tour. Not much information of history or architectures. It was difficult to find route due to limited street signs. We didn’t complete the full tour after wandering around for 3 hours.

It was a great discovery. As Belgians, we had never been in Indianapolis before and it was a great way to discover the city and the good places to be be. Rob is really a passionated guide who loves to talk about this amazing city. I would highly recommend.

Rob was a fantastic guide! He provided clear communication about where and when to meet and cheerfully greeted us on arrival. Ours was a small group (just our family of three plus two other guys) which turned out great. Rob’s knowledge was great and he provided an entertaining overview of Indianapolis as we saw the sights. The tour was filled with stories to provide context for what we were seeing and he adjusted the tour a bit as he learned of our interests. Highly recommend this to visitors to Indy!

Excellent experience! We had a great time and learned a lot! Rob was a fantastic guide! Our tour was about two hours long and we walked about 1.5 miles. We stopped in the middle for a break to use the restroom and sample a local brewery.

Rob of Indy Walking Tours did an excellent job walking backwards while talking about the sights we saw, interacted with each person in some way personally, and told us about Indianapolis and some of the complexity and challenges of the city.

We have lived here in this city for 23 years and have had our fair share of tours and studied the history of the city and state. But we still learned a lot!!

This is a fun tour of the downtown area of Indianapolis. The tour guide packed a lot of interesting (not boring at all) history of the state and city. Along the way, you get to see and learn about some really beautiful monuments and architecture. Well worth the time and energy.

Every city we have visited we have taken a biking or walking tour. We love getting a more intimate view of the attractions with all the historical details. Indy walking tours did not disappoint and was truly such a fun and informative tour. Rob has clearly done his research and does an amazing job guiding you through downtown Indy and weaving in fun and informative details along the way. I loved that a beverage/pit stop was included mid way through and that he graciously offered to take our photo. Couldn’t recommend this tour enough and truly feel it was well worth it.
