Peter was amazing. Not only did he bring us treats he entertained us all day. He educated us with history of the area and brought in locations of Inspector Morse. I highly recommend him to any group.

Peter conducted a well-planned tour that left us wanting more. He noted that we were also interested in the Potter-verse and the Inklings so shared some info about them too. Hearing that we were going to visit Bath he confided that he grew up there and emailed us his Bath what-to-see recommendations. He also sent us emails about the Morse and Potter universes after calling us on the night we did the tour to check if we had any more questions. His enthusiasm and commentary had us expecting to see Morse, Lewis, Endeavour or Colin Dexter at any moment. This is a must do for any Morse fan visiting Oxford.Tom from Visit Oxford Tours was our excellent and very helpful guide for several hours. Tom from Visit Oxford Tours was our excellent and very helpful guide for several hours. His remarkable encyclopedic knowledge of Oxford, it’s history through the centuries, and where important scenes from the Inspector Morse, Endeavor and Lewis British detective series were filmed, made for an absolutely delightful afternoon for my wife, recent college graduate daughter and me. We also visited several locations that were part of the Harry Potter films. We visited two historic pubs, stepped inside a number of important and beautiful landmarks, and gained a much better sense of the city, the 31 colleges that make up the University, and its unique history. Thank you Tom! Highly highly recommended.Wonderful tour of Oxford. We are fans of Morse and Endeavor and this was a great tour by Tom. He gave us lots of background on Oxford and showed us places where the shows were filmed. We learned so much about the city, the schools and the shows. High marks for Tom!
