Emily was an amazing guide. I learned so much about bands and singers I knew were from Ireland, and learned about others I was not yet familiar with. I love the music even more now.

Alan had a unique combination of knowledge, and music philosophy which he combined to educate us of the contributions of Irish music icons to the history of music. Alan had a masterful knowledge of musicians - Irish or not. He is passionate about his task. It was palpable to all of us listening to him. It resulted in our experiencing a real emotional experience to the influence of Irish musicians.

Had an absolute blast learning about Irish music and musicians. Emily was our tour guide and was the best! Everyone in my party is still talking about how much passion, joy, and knowledge Emily had. Will recommend this tour to anyone we know going to Dublin!

Our tourguide was Alan and he is really passionate about music and shares good stories that make it a real experience. You visit the rehearsal rooms where many great artists started, see the U2 practice room, the Button Factory stage/venue, recording studio and Phil Lynott memorabilia.

What an absolutely fantastic 90 minutes. Didn’t know that much about Rory Gallagher etc but left spellbound courtesy of the most knowledgable of guides , Alan. His music knowledge is second to none, his anecdotes of meeting his heroes humbling, and his overall narration of an obvious love of music was just second to none. Even if you’re not the most ardent music fan, I can guarantee you will love this.

From the first moment through the last, Scott, our guide was energetic, informative and entertaining. Tour takes about an hour 15 or 20 minutes. You enter actual band practice rooms, learn about well known performers who used those rooms, see memorabilia and get a chance to jam a bit. Very fun experience.

We had a fantastic visit to the Rock and Roll Museum in Dublin! One highlight was seeing the Nirvana poster for their scheduled concert on April 8th, 1994, at the RDS Simmonscourt. It was fascinating and bittersweet to see this piece of history, knowing the concert never happened due to Kurt Cobain's untimely passing. The museum was packed with fantastic exhibits and memorabilia, and it was a real treat to explore with friends from America. Our tour guide, Scott, did a tremendous job, making the experience even more enjoyable. My friends Tony and Lynn, visiting from New Jersey, and I, living in Slane, County Meath, Ireland, thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, adding to the overall experience. Whether you’re a rock enthusiast or just looking for something unique to do in Dublin, I highly recommend visiting the Rock and Roll Museum.

Alan’s passion for his subject kept me interested and energized when I was suffering from Jetlag on the afternoon. I arrived in Dublin. I did not know much if anything about Rory Gallagher and Thin Lizzie, but it was interesting to know about their importance to the Irish music scene leading to U2 and Sinéad O’Connor eventually.. Definitely worthwhile for music lovers of all ages

Amazing tour, really insightful to a facet of Ireland ever-forgotten. The building themselves contain fascinating history with the caliber and quantity of artists that have walked in the halls, to even the music cultivated there. Just an enjoyable place to walk around and hang out.Give Scott a raise!

Scott was incredibly friendly, funny, and informative, and he did well rolling with the rather talkative group we were with. The museum has so many interesting and nostalgic pieces. There was another staff member that helped me when my debit card went missing and when I got separated from my tour but I don't know her name. Overall, the staff here is amazing, and the museum is a must-stop for any music fans passing through Dublin!
