Damien, our driver, was very knowledgeable about the history of Killarney & we enjoyed the stories he shared as we took our ride.

This was just the best way to see the park. We had a wonderful time and were blessed to see lots of deers on our way around, and were at the right time of year to see the yellow irises out. Our very tall driver was extremely informative, funny and very helpful, including offering us tips for other places to see while in Ireland. The perfect day 😊

Damian and Maggie (the horse) were excellent. The park is beautiful, Damien is personable and knowledgeable and the carriage was clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

Damian called to let us know he was on his way. He arrived on time with a very nice horse (Molly) and carriage. He even had blankets for us. Damian was kind, told Us the history of what we were seeing, offered to take pictures of our group and had a good sense of humor. Would definitely recommend.

Jason was a great guide. He was fun to be with. Beautiful scenery. It was an hour worth every penny.

Amazing does not begin to describe this hotel. Every single staff member was a delight from the young lady training in the restaurant to the restaurant manager who checked on us every meal, to Carrie (sp?) who checked us in (a total sweetheart), to Tim, the valet, PC and the other concierge (can’t remember his name sorry). They were so helpful when we asked what to do. They had stories about Irish history, where to go, what to look out for, less traveled roads, etc. Every day they saw us they remembered what we did and asked us how we were doing. The gentleman at this fitness center was also really nice and friendly; by the way the fitness center is amazing. There’s a sauna, steam room, a beautiful pool, a kiddie pool, a Jacuzzi, and an outdoor bubble pool. We didn’t even go to the spa which I’m sure is also just amazing. The food was wonderful. Breakfast was really nice. They brought a little tray of pastries right when you sit down if so if you’re hungry, you don’t have to wait. Ourroom was great. The bed was super comfortable. We had a balcony over the garden, which I highly recommend, there was even a fireplace. They think of all the little touches, like they give you an adapter to use while you’re there, a little nightlight already built into the room so you don’t have to worry about that. We stayed in a room with a bathtub which was gigantic I am 5’ 10” and I could lay down and not touch the far edge. Shower was nice, wonderful water pressure. The soaps and lotions were really nice. We happen to have a hybrid car and not only did they have a charger, but they don’t even charge you to charge your car there. It’s a great location, a few minutes walk from the center of town, but just a tiny bit off the busiest part. We can’t wait to come back someday! Thank you for an incredible experience!

If I could give more stars I would. Damien and Maggie are amazing! Damien was so friendly, explained the history and took such interest in what my 3 and 8 year olds had to say. Kids can’t wait to book again! This was well worth our time and I am glad we did it!

Friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. Fantastic tour through the park. The wagons are covered in case the weather is bad.

Damien from McCarthy Farms was our guide and he was amazing! He was so Informative, funny and took great care of us along with Molly. She provided a smooth and comfortable ride! The park is beautiful!

What a great experience! Our tour guide and his horse Molly were amazing! The tour guide really went out of his way to make it a memorable experience for everyone! Especially My 11 year old daughter, who said it was the best part of her vacation! Highly recommended way to see part of Killarney National Park!

Our guide was so nice and genuinely fun to hang out with during the ride. Maggie was a very sweet horse as well. My friend and I had a blast enjoying the scenery in a unique way. The recommendations for food and drinks (Stonechat) were helpful too especially with it being our first time in the area. Would definitely do this again!

We had a great time touring the park this way! Our driver was knowledgeable and helpful and full of Irish wit! He even took tons of photos for us. The park is just beautiful, and this was such a nice way to enjoy it! I highly recommend it!

Killarney was wet and rainy on a recent Sunday. I was feeling some regret that I had prebooked an outdoor activity. Not to worry! Damien’s carriage had a roof, clear shades that could come down, and lots of cozy blankets. In the park, the gentle rain brought out a certain mystical mood, truly enhancing the experience. It was a lovely excursion led by a gracious member of a prominent local family. Highly recommend for any time of year or weather forecast.

We had Martin who was an excellent historian and went out of his way to make our tour a wonderful experience. He took pictures of us and made sure we were well taken care of. It was a very windy and cold day and he still made it fun. Highly recommended!!
