This was an amazing experience and intro into Korean cuisine. There was plenty of food per person. I would highly recommend it if you want to dive into home cooking in Korea.

This was worth every penny. Sara was funny, personable, knowledgeable and skilled. She explained so much about spices and ingredients at a local market before taking us to her home to learn how to make 4 different dishes. It was a true hands-on experience with a group of travelers from all over the world. She expertly helped us through the steps of three dishes that we all ate at the end of the class. Lots of fun and now we go home with the recipes and the ability to make them. Loved this class!

We loved that we were invited to Sarah's home and that we were able to visit an authentic (!) local market - the food we cooked together was delicious and we had a very nice group! Wish you all the best :)

This was by far the best cooking class I went to. Sara was amazing and really good at making the whole group feel comfortable. She’s a wonderful teacher and has a really intentional set up. Most cooking classes I go to it’s standing up but we have chairs which was really nice! She knows a lot about seasonal veggies & fruits and the market tour was very informative. It’s definitely worth the money.

Very enjoyable experience with Sara. She met our group of 10 right outside Exit 2 of the Mangwon Train Station & we immediately started on our walking tour through the marketplace. So nice to have a guide to explain all of the varieties of fruits, vegetables, seafood & prepared food. Didn’t realize we would be walking to her home and cooking there. We climbed stairs to her 5th floor home which is nicely set up for dining & instruction. Sara’s upbeat & friendly personality made the time go by quickly! The food we prepared was delicious and easy to prepare. We received pics & recipes by the time we got back to our hotel…so efficient. If you want to have fun; get a guided tour of a local market place; learn to prepare Korean dishes & sides; and enjoy a good meal, this is the one for you! Thank you Sara!

The whole experience was super fun and well worth the money. The market tour was interesting and educational, and the cooking class was easy to follow. A good choice for anyone visiting Korea!

Sarah was an excellent host. Starting off with an in depth tour of the local market, teaching us about the different produces as well as teaching us Korean words. Her home was lively and comforting and she made us feel very comfortable. The food and experience was fantastic.

She first took us through the market and pointed out a lot of different foods and ingredients. She also bought some for us to try. When we got to her place we cooked traditional Korean food, and ate it together as a group. It was an amazing experience all in all, would 100% recommend to anyone interested in cultural culinary. She was very informative and she made it very exciting!

What a great cooking class, market tour was fun, food was delicious and even learned some Korean. Would highly recommend. My only suggestion would be to have a few chairs with backs as stools are hard on my back.

Jonghee was a lot of fun to be with. She was very friendly and welcoming into her home. She first took us to the local market and invited us to try some street food, while explaining about Korean food culture and seasons. Then we went to her kitchen where everything was perfectly laid out for us to start cooking. The recipes were easy to follow and the food was delicious and plentiful. Jonghee made sure to adjust for spice tolerance and the whole activity was very well organized to keep us all busy and have everything ready at the same time. She provided all the recipes and gave alternatives for substituting hard to find ingredients when back home. She also said we could always contact her with questions. And she taught us some basic Korean expressions. We all had a great time. I highly recommend this activity to anyone interested in Korean food and culture.
