Sara our guide was animated and engaging as she shared historical and practical aspects of Lisbon. She was very considerate, respectful and welcoming. She answered questions without hesitation and provided lots of recommendations. Great experience!!!

It never happened because one got lost after checking in and saying hi to tour guide. Our party of three showed up right after getting off the train from Porto, literally dumping our bags off at our hotel and running to the meeting place. There were two women waiting for the tour as well and the guide cancelled on us because “it wasn’t worth his time unless we make it worthwhile for him.” We did the same walking tour in Porto and Caoimhin remained professional with five of us in the rain- the white umbrella was actually MUCH needed. I know it’s only three euros but it’s just such a stark contrast from a great tour experience we just had in Porto. We were spoiled by a nice man. Hope you can get a few more gems like Caoimhin and we may try this tour again but probably not. It was such a waste of our time and the shameless hinting that he would “carry on” if we could assure him he would be well compensated for his graciousness. Please.

The tour was supposed to start at 11:30 . I was at the meeting point sent to me by the tour operator at 11:00. I waited for more than one hour but no body showed up . I tried to call the local operator several times but there was no answer. I just waisted my time.

Having spent some days in HK, we went to the Philippines to visit and relax. On our way back to Austria we had another night in HK. Friends recommend to stay at The Salisbury and we love them for this advise. We arrived early and got our room by 12 am. We were lucky to check in with Crystal, who was friendly and highly professional, even remembered us after two hours.
