Our guide is a long time resident that knows the unique tapas bars and their specialties- both on and off menu food and drink. One member in our group was a vegetarian. Our guide offered vegetarian options that were well recieved. Our guide started the tour by conversing in clear English and took the time to understand each guest's background and likely preferences.

My mother and I had a great tour with Jorge!! He was personable and knowledgeable about Spain's history. Answered all our questions. We enjoyed visiting the market and learning a bit about the history of the building. The tapas and wine were delicious! We separated satisfied with full bellies!! Thank you Jorge!!

We had an excellent five hour tour with four stops at tapas bars plus and extra stop for ice cream for our small kids. Javier was an amazing guide, adding history and cultural lectures into our tapas and wine tour. The food was great and so were the wines. Javier’s knowledge of wine was an extra treat and really added to the tasting of the local wines of Aragon. We could not have been happier with the tour. Javier is not to be missed as a guide!

Javier was an excellent guide for our tapas and wine tour of Zaragoza. He gave us a great presentation of history and culture as well. He also happily adjusted the program for our small children, adding an ice cream stop and picking tapas they would eat. He also extended the tour for two additional hours and two more stops at tapas bars. The food and wines were great and Javier’s wine knowledge was one of the best parts of the tour.

Amazing wine and tapas tour! Javier was the most excellent tour guide. He really brought the city of Zaragoza to life, and the tour has been the highlight of our holiday in Spain so far. Javier was a mine of information on historical matters, but he is also taking the WSET 4 exam, so his knowledge of wine was incredible. I would highly recommend this trip, which was worth every penny.

Excellent hospitality and service from our guide Jorge, he was passionate about sharing his city with us and we are very thankful! Our group consisted of two different families and Jorge did an excellent job blending us into one. Father and adult son from Germany and our family of four (2 adults, kids 8 & 11) from the US. My husband and I loved the food, wine, and information about the city. Jorge was also open and shared a bit about his life in Zaragoza, which we love!! Only down side, and it’s not the tour groups fault, just something to consider for yourselves, my children were not as enthused as me and my husband. Lol!! They hung in there though! And Jorge certainly did his best to include them by selecting tapas that matched their palate, and engaging with them equally. This was fine for us as we want our children to experience different things even if it’s not thrilling. I would definitely recommend checking out the full lineup from Gastro Rutica 41 and seeing what works best for you. Overall we had an excellent experience! Gracias Jorge

Jorge has an excellent way of making each tour a unique experience. He has personal relationships with many establishments throughout Zaragoza, so guests feel special at each stop. I enjoyed this tour with Jorge very much indeed. He is very generous with his time and very knowledgeable about food and history and many other topics related to Zaragoza. It was really interesting to talk to him about a wide variety of subjects. He also ensured that the tour was personalised to meet my dietary requirements, as I am both gluten-free and low FODMAP (i.e. no onion!). After looking around the beautiful central Zaragoza market we stopped for some excellent coffee and divine cheesecake at a café where I've already been back twice for more. We also visited the enormous cathedral, and for lunch we went to two different places for tapas - the oldest restaurant in Zaragoza and another place that specialises in gluten-free tapas. I felt very well taken care of and highly recommend the tour to others.

Tapas, vino, history and local knowledge in one great experience. Jorge is a local business owner who also provides tapas tours. Not just any tapas tour but a tour that encompasses the history of Zaragoza but a local’s knowledge of the tapas scene. It was one of the best tapas tours of our journey thru Spain this month. His recommendations on tapas and wines were exceptional!! His combination of intelligence and affability is unusual. Jorge provided my wife and I with an afternoon that will be long remembered.
