We had a great trek up Mt Batur! Our guide was fantastic, the walk wasn't difficult but he was very conscious that it was steep and wanted to make sure we had plenty of opportunity for rest. We didn't see the sunrise unfortunately due to dense cloud but we didn't mind, it couldn't be helped although our guide was very apologetic! On the way down, he made sure we stopped at plenty of vistas and became our photographer, which was lovely. Couldn't recommend him enough! The breakfast spot was insane, genuinely the best breakfast I've ever had and the view of the volcano behind can't be beaten! Our driver Putu was great too, we got talking about local produce and coffee and he took us on a detour to a local coffee and produce plantation where we got a tour and got to see the process of making Arabica and Luwak coffee, and we got to taste it all too.

This was a very nice tour. Its a bit tiring to start hiking in the middle of the night, but it was all worth it. Our driver Kadek picked us up, and made sure that we had a comfortabel drive to and from the trekking place. When arrived, our guide JRO took over, and guided us all the way up to mount Batur and took beautiful sunrise pictures of us. He was calm and nice to hikig with. We were happy we chose this tour, and would highy recommend to choose this tour.

This was such an incredible experience by such a well organised and experienced company. Wayan Budiawan was amazing and I would recommend requesting him. He enabled us to be one of the first on the top so we had one of areas with the best view reserved for the sunrise itself. He also made food and showed us around some of the other steam holes and lava fields while we waited so that we were able to avoid any queues this made is such a more enjoyable experience for us. Wayan was really kind helpful and took some excellent photos for us (better than we could have ever taken). Putu Anton was our driver who was alsp very kind and proffessional. He arrived promtly and gave us a smooth trip up from canggu. His car also had reclining seats that he showerd us how to use to nap on route (which was great given its an early start). He also took us back to the hotsprings and for breakfast after the hike. He also offered advice on how to travel around for onward journeys. They were so hard working to ensure we had the best experience, thank you!

We did the sunrise trek today and we had a fantastic experience. We got picked up from our apartment in Ubud from our driver Putu Anton who was very friendly and professional the whole time and told us lots of facts about the area. We were then met with our guide Wayan Budiawan who made the trip 1000 better. When we arrived at the meeting point he gave us walking poles, water and a head torch. I struggled a bit with the hills and the walking poles really helped. This was something that a lot of the other groups didn’t have so we were really happy with the eye for detail from Wayan. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and made sure we were away from busy crowds. He did a fantastic job taking bespoke pictures and videos of us both at the top of the mountain and made sure we had everything we needed. This trip included coffee and eggs at the top of the mountain and was then followed by a lovely breakfast overlooking mount batur and the lake. I highly recommend booking with this company and asking for Wayan to make your trip extra special. Thank you so much for a wonderful trip!

This tour was amazing. For the price you get return pick up from your location, English speaking guide up the mountain, eggs and hot drink on top, delish breakfast with mountain views after. Our guide Gede Tono, was absolutely amazing and so knowledgeable about the path and surrounding areas, not to mention an amazing photographer. Trek does require a basic fitness level, but cannot recommend this tour enough

Manku was a great guide and had a lovely sunrise. Well worth it. Good runners is a must and definitely needed the sweater. A small level of fitness is a help

Wow, what an experience, couldn’t recommend this enough! Wayan Budiawan, our guide showed us around and spoiled us with taking many pictures! He had such a positive energy! The sunrise and the view were stunning!!

We had an amazing time climbing Mount Batur! Our driver Putu Anton picked us up from our hotel at 2.30am and was so friendly and helpful. The walk itself is pretty challenging, especially in the middle of the night, so I’d recommend taking plenty of water and some good shoes! It took us 1 hr 45 mins to reach the summit. Our guide Wayan Budiawan was amazing, he got us all up the mountain with time to spare. Two of our group also decided not to walk the whole way once we were half way up so Wayan arranged for them to be taken up the rest of the way on motorbikes. A great option if you don’t fancy walking the entire thing. He also took heaps of photos for us (including a time lapse of the sunrise), as he knew all the tricks to a good summit photo! At the summit we had hot coffee and eggs cooked in the volcanic steam which Wayan sorted out for us. After we’d made our way down, Putu drove us to a cafe called Okuta for breakfast which had the most amazing view (and amazing latte art!). We finished the trip with a visit to a Ululandu Batur temple, where Wayan gave us a guided tour. Overall, a really cool experience that I would definitely recommend!

Our hike could not have been better. Wayan Budiawan is the absolute best and took care of us! He is such a fun guide and took some great pictures for us to remember an amazing experience. Other guides and companies on the trek didn’t put as much thought and attention into their customers.. we couldn’t have been happier and HIGHLY recommend this company and this trek. Putu Panda was also a great driver and was very pleasant to be around at the early hour of 2:30a! We felt safe with him and enjoyed his company.

We had a lovely morning thanks to our driver, Putu, and guide, Made. The sheer number of hikers surprised me but Made knew exactly where to go and when to get some beautiful photos. You can tell he really enjoys what he does and is happy to show Mount Batur to visitors. Thank you for a beautiful morning!

Trekking to the Batur volcano is an unforgettable experience! Beautiful views, an unforgettable impression and the care of the best people. With a driver like Putu Pande and a JRO guide, it must be possible! We recommend it 100%! We had a great time, ate a delicious breakfast with a perfect view of the Batur volcano and tasted local coffees and teas in a lovely place. Thank you very much, guys! ❤️

Had such a great time with get your guide guide tour with private transfer. Gede Dastra picked us up and was super helpful on the whole journey. He told us about the volcano and local tradition. Couldn’t recommend the tour more!

Amazing views from the top! Well worth the money. The tour guides are brilliant, JRO navigated the darkness to get our whole group up safely and took loads of great photos of our group at the top! Brilliant thing to do on your holiday! Highly recommend.

We had an amazing time hiking Mt Batur with JRO. He was so patient with us as we were feeling a little under the weather that morning. He encouraged us to keep going all the way to the top and we were so happy we did. Not only was the sunrise beautiful, JRO brought us coffee and showed us how he cooks eggs in the steam from the crater. We also got to see the monkeys as they came out just after sunrise. I would highly recommend doing this tour with JRO.

This was an amazing experience. My driver Putu was terrific starting with a friendly face at 2:30am 😀. My guide Gee Tono was absolutely fantastic. He was very patient and helpful for me being a bit unfit. Quite a few stops and he even carried my rucksack. He found me a perfect spot at the top of the mountain and helped me take lots of great photos. The views were so breathtaking I was very moved. Can’t explain the experience other than it was emotional and special. The mood of others on the mountain was terrific too. The monkeys were cute and the steam coming off the mountain was really special too. Couldn’t rave highly enough about the experience or the company. The breakfast was great too. What a special time. I am now exhausted but happy.

I cannot speak highly enough of Mount Batur treaking. Their communication of how the day would run & their timings were on point, very very reliable !! We had the most amazing experience with them today and one we will never forget. The trek was hard but rewarding, we had the most amazing guide with us Wayan Budiawan, he is an absolute legend !!! Pushing us on and taking some great pictures on the way. We had a driver Putu Anton assigned to us for the day and he was also amazing. After the trek we went onto the white water rafting which was a perfect way to end an action packed day! Our guide on the water was Rye, he was so much fun! Came towards the end of March. Weather was perfect and the views were amazing. Our guide, JRO was phenomenal and patient.

We all had a wonderful time doing the Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking private tour. Putu and Wayan were both a fantastic driver and mountain guide. All went smoothly and I would recommend to anyone wanting to do this Trek.

I had a great day!! Pick up was 2.30am - early start but worth it! The hike was quite challenging for me. but my guide Tono was very patient and accommodated my multiple stops to catch my breath! Unfortunately the weather didn't allow for the Sun to pierce at the top, but in a way being in the fog and mist at the top was quite beautiful. Arya was my trusted driver for the day - taking me to the hike site, then to a beautiful hotsprings after, followed by a coffee plantation visit. I enjoyed Arya's company so much that I organised another day trip with him. He's very professional, nice and fun. I highly recommend both Arya as a day tour guide and Toni for the hike itself!!
