We had to wait 30 minutes for a bus. We were told by the email to wait at an old train station, which was not a bus stop. The stop was far closer to the pier and we walked right by it. The hop on system was far oversold, so when we got to the fortress we wanted to see, we were afraid to get off because we didn’t trust the service.

The driver would not accept our tickets and charges us 8 euros each

Save your money and buy the ticket in person for 2 euros cheaper. There's no advantage of buying in advance, the bus driver doesn't care either way and treats it as first come first serve. The big advantage, if you can manage to get a seat, is that it takes you up to Palimidi Fortress.

Spoiled by having to queue for a long time to catch bus on a cruise ship day. We had to wait wait while 3 buses went. Not enough buses. Boarding took a long time because people without tickets had to buy them on boarding. Needs a ticket kiosk near port for tickets to be purchased. Earphone5 commentary did not always relate to where we were.

It should have been pointed out there were only two stops until 1:00, the start and the castle. Ran every 30 minutes but lines were so long im sure people waited hours to get on. It seemed like there was only one bus.

50+ passengers trying to get on a app 30 seat bus everytime it got back to the port stop was never going to work. The company needed to operate at least 4 more buses (with 1 leaving port every 15-20mins) to move the passengers. We were the only cruise ship in town and it didn't work very well. 3 of us made it to the Castle on the hill but the other 3 in our group gave up.

Only 2 very small buses to cater for cruise ship passengers. Had to wait an hour to get on. Only one stop - Palamidi Castle. Drivers very rude. Also lady in the tourist office was very rude and wouldn’t give anyone maps of the town - not even to non cruise passengers who were staying in the town for 5 days. Very disappointing welcome to Napflion.
