A very nice Trip for Kids and adulta

The day trip was very good and enjoyed it, except for the set lunch which both my wife and I disliked intensely. Had the walk from Hotel lunch venue to the snow monkeys, we might have not gone. It was understated. However seeing them was great. The guide was professional throughout. The itinerary for the day was balanced, interesting and reasonably well planned

The day trip as well organised from beginning to end. The Zenkoji temple was huge with beautiful temple and outer buildings to explore, we could have spent more time here as there was so much to see. The tunnel under the temple floor around the hidden Buddha statue was worthwhile! Sake tasting was interesting & Jens (our guide) explained about sake making, we were able to try many Sakes. Lunch was a beautiful bento box wrapped in the traditional way which allowed us to try many new delights. There were many snow monkey’s today even though it is spring and we were lucky to see a new born baby monkey. Jens was thoughtful, kind and a very informative guide. Really loved the snow monkeys, which is what we wanted to see. Good to go to the temple with a guide who is knowledgeable, but not interested really, as can go by ourselves, or in Sake as been on one tour already.

Absolutely wonderful. Lin, our guide was superb. The Zenko-ji Temple was really impressive. This was followed by a great saki tasting and a wonderful delicious lunch. Lin saved the best for last…the snow monkeys. A bit of a hike on a slight incline but at the end, there they were. You are guaranteed to see them at their best. Transportation to and from the Nagano train station was very comfortable. This tour promises and delivers. My wife and I couldn’t be more pleased. There are many other tours out there to pick from so glad we chose this one. Sign up for this tour, request Lin as your guide and have a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable day.

Sijung, our guide, was lovely and well-informed. He managed to answer the majority of questions fired his way from a reasonable sized group. And if he didn’t know, he would come back to us. The lunch provided was a thing of beauty, served in a lovely restaurant at the foot of the park. There was a reasonable amount of bus travel (90 minutes for the tour), but it was comfortable. The only niggle I have is I could have done the tour myself, however it was lovely to interact with others, especially as a solo traveller. However, I did learn things I didn’t know, so it’s a winner for me. Thank you!

A bit expensive for the things you get. But still a very nice day tour!
