Our guide, Lisa, was full of knowledge. We had the pleasure of eating well and learning a lot of the Bahamian history. Our first stop was the Bahamian Kitchen which provided delicious chicken, rice, fritters, mac/cheese and wonderful plantains. Next stop was the Walking Stick where we enjoyed a wonderful cocktail. Along the way we learned about Bahamian culture and history. Graycliff chocolatier provided an extra sweetness to our journey ❤️. While walking to our next stop Lisa discussed local artists and legends. When arriving at John Waitlings distillery we were greeted with a rum shot (yummy). Our visit ended with a taco from Monkey Feet. Very understated but delicious!!! Our final stop was the Da Art District Lounge. What a cool place to end our day. At first glance, you would think it is a small venue but walking through the hallway you notice local art. You end up outside with live music, outdoor bar, grill. But most importantly a cool private bar where you enjoy a truly delicious plantain bowl. I strongly recommend the walking tour. There is something special about being eye level with the local art. Passing by people who always greet you with “good day to you”. This isn’t something you get while traveling in a bus.

Loved this tour! Captain Ron was entertaining and informative. The food and cocktails were excellent. A true taste of The Bahamas, “off the beaten track.” If you like culture, cuisine and history all blended together and beautifully spiced, take this tour!

Lisa was an amazing tour guide!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We enjoyed some delicious local cuisine, toured downtown and learned alot about the culture. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys great food and learning about the Bahamian culture. So fun!

Captain Ron is the man!! There are not enough worlds to describe how awesome, entertaining, educational and delicious this tour was! We had a blast and learned so much about Bahamian history and culture. The food was absolutely incredible, especially Mena’s Bahamian Cookin’ and the Art District Lounge! Captain Ron was an amazing guide and his passion and enthusiasm is 100% is what made this tour so special. Do yourself a favour, skip your cruise ship’s Nassau excursions and book this one instead, you will not be disappointed!!

The whole tour was excellent. The food and drink were exceptional.. The tour guide Nicolette was very knowledgeable , approachable and included everybody in the tour .

What a great experience!!! We’ve been here for 3 days and THIS is the food I’ve been waiting for! The tour started with my favorite dish— a plate of true Bahamian flavors! Princess did an amazing job of detailing each dish and the process of making these traditional items. Thank you for a great tour and introducing us to the Bahamian culture!

This was one of the best tours we’ve been on. Captain Ron was an incredible tour guide who shares his passion and knowledge with us from the very beginning to the end. The restaurant choices were perfect…we loved the authentic Bahamian cuisine. I highly recommend it for anyone!

Nicolette was a pleasure to spend the afternoon with. Even without the amazing food and great drinks, we’d hang out with her just because :) The tour was informative, fun and filling. We visited the downtown area, got a history lesson, as well as discussed some modern cultural changes. The food was a fun sampling of local dishes and was excellent. We would definitely recommend these tour.

This tour was great. Lisa our tour guide was amazing. Her knowledge of the food and drinks we had on the tour was phenomenal. She took time to explain each of the dishes and give some background into how they were made. She was very engaging to all members of the group and also provided a lot of historical information of the Bahamas as well. Would highly recommend this tour!!

Everything about the tour went really well. Lisa did a nice job providing a personal perspective on the food and the island. The food and drinks were really tasty and my kids enjoyed everything too and they even got non-alcoholic versions of the drinks we tried.

Our day with Captain Ron was spectacular! He was so knowledgeable about the history and culture of the Bahamas and answered all the questions we asked with enthusiasm. Captain Ron was a town favorite and introduced us to so many locals throughout the tour. The food was phenomenal and so were all the samples. If you’re on the verge of booking this tour, DO IT!! We highly recommend it to anyone and everyone!

Our tour guide Lisa was excellent, she was funny, knew everyone’s name, I don’t know how she did that. she explained everything, everyone was happy during this tour. She was knowledgeable and friendly. The food tasted good. Overall, I give this tour 10/10 and will recommend it to friends.

We had a tour with Lelly, it was amazing and she was so informative! Made us feel so welcome and was a lovely person I really enjoyed chatting with her. All the food and drink was fantastic and was amazing to see parts of Nassau, very much enjoyed the distillery!! Thanks again Lelly!!!!
