Emphasizing the teaching of natural history, A Walk In The Woods offers spectacular trips into the incredible biodiversity of the Smokies. Our expert Smoky Mountain guides will take you on a once in a lifetime tour. Furthermore, your experience may include incredible vistas, gentle cascades, waterfalls, majestic ancient forests, crystal clear mountain streams, old home sites, graveyards or hidden trails.

Itinerary
**Please note: The Great Smoky Mountains National Park will require parking passes for any vehicle stopping longer than 15 minutes. ** Follow a beautiful mountain stream while you discover events and people who shaped what we see today. Immerse yourself in the forest, wildflowers, and other natural wonders of this lovely stream valley. Walk through the remains of a Civilian Conservation Corp camp and see evidence of other earlier uses of this area. Learn about an important early proponent for this National Park and the people whose hard work helped to create it. Make five bridged stream crossings and visit a trail shelter used by backpackers. Duration: 5 hours/Difficulty: Easy to Moderate

- No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- This tour requires a 2 person minimum to operate. If you are traveling solo, you may join into an existing tour or pay the 2 person rate.
- This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 11 travelers
