Scary but fun morning in the ocean surrounded by sharks! You spend 20mins in the cage but that's plenty of time. The boat ride out to the cage was pretty rough with a number of people sick on the way back. We saw heaps of sharks which was amazing. The snorkel gear was clean and the staff made sure it fit well. Book on the early tours. We did 8am and all the tours after ours was cancelled due to the rough conditions. We ubered out to the dive site as the USD75/person was pretty steep. Thankfully our uber driver came back for us when we told her what time we would be finished. She did warn us that it could be a few hours before an uber would turn up to take us back to Waikiki. The return trip for a family of 4 was roughly USD135. We would definitely do this again!

This was such a great experience. We went early arrived at 6:30am for 7am tour. The water was really calm and really beautiful! We did see about 3-5 sharks nice size and a few other fish. This was my daughter’s idea and it was her 13th birthday so this made the trip for her. It was worth every dollar spent. The captains were extremely nice and eased all your anxiety about getting in the cage.

I have heard it’s always hit or miss; unfortunately it was a miss for us. We saw a total of 2 sharks after being in water for 23 minutes (we filmed the entire process and counted the sharks - which made it even more sad). The captain told us it’s usually not like this, but my friends who came last year experienced the same. We end up just swimming in a cage 😂. Also pro tip, if you buy a video, the workers will work hard to get sharks to come your way (or else I guess people won’t end up paying for the video service?). If you don’t buy the video service, well, you get the standard treatment. So adjust your expectations! We will probably not visit again.

This was a really incredible experience! We saw at least a dozen sharks that came right up by the cage. I’d assumed we may see a couple from a distance, but it was better than I could have imagined. The staff was really great! I appreciated the time they took to teach us about the sharks we were swimming with. I’d definitely recommend this experience to others.

What an amazing experience! The water was clear, and the sharks were abundant. Make sure to take some meds, if you get motion sickness!

Absolutely amazing!! If it is windy, maybe take some Dramamine. I did get a little sick… no fault of the guys doing the excursion!!

Sharks are wild animals, and as such, do their own thing. Leading up to this event I was wondering IF the sharks would cooperate and show up. Oh boy! They certainly did, and in droves! At one point there were a dozen sharks lurking around. I enjoyed this trip immensely! Icing on the cake on the way back was the most colorful rainbow I've ever seen in my life! All in all, well worth the price of admission.

It was an amazing experience! My partner had a fantastic time swimming with the sharks. There were so many to see and the staff were wonderful! Everyone was kind and thoughtful of everyone on board! Would recommend to anyone!

Being under the water and being able to actually touch one. The lead, Caleb, was very chill. He gave important information without going overboard. Also, gave me space when I emptied my stomach after the dive. Would highly recommend this tour 🤠

The crew was great. There were about a dozen sharks that were very active. The waves were choppy and made things difficult but that’s not the crew’s fault. Would definitely do again.

A great experience with friendly, knowledgeable staff creating a fun and safe experience. Beware that the cage is rocky, it’s a given since it’s off the North Shore. (And nothing against the tour company, obviously) For any Galeopbobes (people with a phobia of sharks. I’m not talking about a normal amount of concern being around large predatory fish but being dead scared of them) You stand a much greater chance of getting injured in that rocky cage than a shark doing anything to you. To date, nobody has ever died from a shark attack in a cage, you’re far more likely to drown or die from blunt force trauma from smacking around the cage or other people. That being said, the prospect of rocking around the cage and accidentally sticking a limb out by a bunch of curious, large predatory fish is scary. Though these species of shark aren’t particularly dangerous compared to the native Tiger Sharks, I wouldn’t exactly want to test them like that either, especially the prospect of accidentally hitting or kicking one. Be sure to use the arm and feet rails inside the cage, they are essential. Great views, and it’s truly a one of a kind experience. On my bucket list to lead up to seeing a great white (safely!), and this was incredible. Also, if you do go, go as early as you can. While you may be tired, you will not regret the overall level of activity compared to other parts of the day. Sharks are naturally most active during dawn and dusk, part of the reason why night swimming at the beach is a bad idea, aside from riptides and just the overall darkness. A tour you’ll never forget or regret. 5/5.

The sharks were so calm and peaceful. We had lots of time in the cage. I just wish that we were able to get photos. The crew was great!

Another great experience with North Shore Shark Adventures. The crew was very accommodating. I was able to get video this time from the boat instead of my own footage. This gives a different perspective from within the cage. We saw multiple sharks as usual and my daughter enjoyed it as well. Clear water made it easy to see the sharks and other fish that were there.

Easy to find kiosk and boat in the harbor staffed by friendly & knowledgeable crew. We were able to see so many beautiful sharks that were so close to us! Fabulous time all around!

It is a wonderful adventure to do. Very exciting and safe. Seeing the sharks swimming so close to you is really amazing. Highly recommended
