On your way to Orvieto, your first stop will be one of Italy’s most beautiful hidden treasures, the town of Civita di Bagnoregio, also called ''dying city'' ! This is because the hill on which it is located, is a volcanic hill and probably one day in very far future it will fall down. This splendid hill town will be the highlight of your visit to Italy! To enter this amazing town, you will need to cross a footbridge, as cars cannot make it across the bridge, it is long but stunning to traverse. Once arrived by foot, you will be left awe-inspired by the incredible panoramic views from the top of this hilltop town.

Quello che ci ha colpito e fatto scegliere Best Rome Driver sono state le ottime recensioni, in tutte le lingue, nelle quali venivano descritte esperienze uniche da vivere. Abbiamo scelto la visita di Civita di Bagnoregio e Orvieto. Un bellissimo van Mercedes nero ci è venuto a prendere sotto casa; l'autista Alex è stato gentile e molto simpatico. Arrivati a Civita, Alex ha parcheggiato e ci ha accompagnati nella bellissima "Città che muore". Eravamo molto emozionati; un borgo così bello, antico, all'interno del quale sono presenti tantissime attività artigianali e posti davvero accoglienti per mangiare qualcosa, prendere un cocktail o semplicemente bere un caffè. Sembrava di essere tornati indietro nel tempo grazie ad un'atmosfera davvero unica. Arrivati ad Orvieto ci siamo trovati di fronte il maestoso Duomo. Che emozione, che meraviglia! Alex ci ha accompagnati nelle vie del centro a visitare torri e piazze consigliandoci un ristorante del posto nel quale abbiamo potuto assaggiare piatti tipici della tradizione Umbra ed un eccellente vino: la taverna dell'etrusco. Dopo una bella passeggiata ci siamo diretti a Civita di Bagnoregio, un’altra esperienza unica è assolutamente consigliata.
