Peter was a fantastic tour guide. His obvious knowledge of Oxford’s history was fascinating and easy to understand. He was pleasant and very cheerful. He was very careful to keep our tour within our necessary time constraints. We highly recommend his tour!

I had a great time on the tour with Peter. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was easy to book online and easy to find him at the meetup spot. I was traveling alone visiting Oxford and the walking tour was the perfect thing to learn some history and local culture and also to interact with some other people including Peter who is a local. Despite being advertised as child friendly I still enjoyed it very much as an adult. I would recommend it. Thanks Peter.Mrs Peter Hart is great. My daughter and I enjoyed a very interesting tour of Oxford. Peter told us a lot of interesting facts about the history of Oxford.

Peter was such a great guide and I would strongly recommend taking his tour! My two daughters (11 and 14) and I were fortunate to have him as our private guide, and we very quickly developed a rapport with him. I found him genuine, friendly and a joy to spend time with. My girls particularly liked his cat vest. Quite miraculously he was somehow able to fulfill my desire to learn more about Oxford’s history, while keeping them engaged too. He provided a “spot it” game that was totally age appropriate and they had a lot of fun trying to find everything. The time flew by! We parted with large smiles on our faces! I would not hesitate to take another tour with him.We had a fun time. I booked as a local with two children aged 6 and 8. We all learned something about our town and saw some new things. We had a fun time. I booked as a local with two children aged 6 and 8. We all learned something about our town and saw some new things. The guide is funny, knowledgable and adaptable. He got the children onside. The spotting trail was good. When I asked, he was able to shoehorn in some links to the 6-yr-old's school history topic. And he was great with our 8-yr-old (who thinks of himself as a history expert and likes to talk!)
