Incredibly preserved historical site. The tour is with a living descendant family member. It is an up close, very personal and informative view of the family’s history and legacy. Very affordable and well worth the price. We took a lot of amazing photos and were amazed at how well everything is preserved. Highly recommended.

An intriguing story of a family's survival in Palermo. Attributed in part to freemasonry and Garibaldi's friendship. A very well curated tour by one of the Count's sons.

One of the best experiences in Palermo: the tour of the palazzo was conducted by a count’s son, who was very enthusiastic, approachable and personable. It’s very interesting to learn how the story of their family is entwined with the European history in general and Sicilian history in particular since Middle Ages.

The tour of this magnificent palazzo, home to the one family for generations. was outstanding largely due to the tour guide who conducted the tour with vitality and energy showing his guests his family home and sharing centuries of family dedication care for this astonishing property. This is a tour simply not to be missed. Lasting exactly one hour, countless rooms were shown and there was ample opportunity to enjoy each room and savour the history.

We loved the personal touch - it was one of the owners themselves who gave the tour. The personal stories were very interesting. The owners are descendants of Emperor Frederico II. The home is unique and beautiful with many special artifacts from antiques to current -day trophies. Hand-painted Sicilian tile floors, Murano glass chandeliers. Don’t miss this.

We were shown the house by the Count’s son, Nic Federico. He was utterly charming and supremely gracious throughout our visit. His passion and pride in the house contagious as he explained the 400 year history of the Palazzo to us. The house is filled with stunningly beautiful architecture, furnishings and objet d’art, all with fascinating stories attached. The tour is an hour and could easily take many more if he were to elaborate on all of these details! The hour flew by and we were left with an impression of the weight of tradition and insight into Sicilian history we couldn’t have gleaned in any other way so I am so glad we visited this amazing Palazzo! 100% recommend.

The Countess gave a very personal tour of her family’s home - dates from the 16th century. Funny with great insights. Beautiful home exhibits the history of Polermo. Definitely a great stop.

I have been travelling around Europe for many years visiting a number of historical palaces, houses and castles. I have to say that this was one of the best, most colourful and interesting visits. It was a house lived by the same family for hundreds of years and the present owner himself showed us the beautiful house and shared parts of the family's amazing very personal stories. This is number one place to visit if you are interested in history.

Amazing experience! Would really recommend it if you are in Palermo. Only about an hour and a half tour but the palace is beautiful and a guide is an actual member of the family. It's so interesting to listen to his stories about the history of the palace, his family and traditions... Very good tour, don't miss it!

Palazzo Conte Federico is a must, if you are in Palermo. The guide is Conte Federico himself, he is fluent in English, Dutch, French...he's a character. His house is beautiful, I really recommend this place.

Love that the tour was given by a member of the immediate family - that made it so much more personal and special! Especially loved the amazing Sicilian tile floors and beautiful Murano chandeliers. My husband loved the racing stories and memorabilia!

We were met by one of the two sons and given a tour of their home that has been in their family for nearly 700 years. It is or was a palace as well as a home. Great tour with plenty of of information, genuine knowledge and history made it seem more personal. Would definately recommend

A fun and educational way to spend an hour in Palermo. Teenagers enjoyed themselves as well learning about the history.

The Palzazzo is guided tours only, done by the son of the current Count. Not only that the the house decor is interesting, the Palazzo has notable significance in the history of Palermo and Italy itself, as it was built as a part of the historic city wall.

I enjoyed it. Beforehand I knew nothing and liked it that one of the family held the tour. The guide spoke really good english and switched effortless between Italian and english
