We had a fantastic day with San and crew on a private boat trip to Phi Phi. Pick-Up at the hotel was exactly on time and very comfortable and got us to the marina early. We were greeted and offered refreshments and a quick loo break ( appreciated) as the initial boat out would be about an hour. We chatted with our guide and decided on the plan for the day - all very easy with lots of choice for us to make the day as we wanted. Boat was beautiful and fully equipped and we enjoyed every part of the sailing. We were given lots of information about the surrounding areas, Viking cave, the types of fish we would encounter and much more. The snorkelling was so much fun and watching the crew anchor the boat carry outs their tasks was also so interesting. We had a lovely lunch on the “quiet side” of Phi Phi don on recommendation and it was some of the best food we have eaten on our trip. 100% recommend. We we given every opportunity to relax on the beaches, enjoy our swimming and snorkelling and San even cleared a beach spot for us, made sure the ground was clear and put down a picnic mat. We felt looked after, safe and most of all that they wanted to make sure we had a great day out. When we return there will be no doubt that we will be going out with 5 star Marine again. And next time with more people. Thank you for making a day to go in our memory book. P.s I like the shape of the fruit 😄

What an absolute incredible trip from start to finish. The booking was easy & communication was on point from the start. We loved that whats app group so we could add all tour members. Pick up from hotel in posh van, safety brief & discussion about the days itinerary outside the office (refreshments provided) & all equipment, drinks & fruit provided on the boat. We were able to do exactly what we wanted, spend as much or as little time at certain spots & Nook was with us the whole day to guide, take pics & was fabulous with our 4 year old. Only a fraction of the price more than some of the other boat trips (not private) & 100% worth it. we would never book a joint tour again after this. Thanks so such a fantastic day out!

5 star Marine is as it’s name says, 5 star! They offer tailor made trips to suit your needs and keep you up to date with everything constantly. We enjoyed the most fabulous day out for two families with young kids and made memories for a life time! Highly recommend!! A must do for anyone visiting Phuket!

From the moment we booked the organisation was incredible. They made every single aspect of the trip so easy and enjoyable. From pick up at the hotel to the end of the day it was incredible. So easy to contact, speedy replies and always asking if there was anything else that could be done to make our day better. This tour is amazing! Guide was so kind & informative, service from crew was so attentive - so happy with the flow of the day and the incredible lunch recommendation. They even brought fruit & drinks out to the beach on a mat for us & the snorkeling was beautiful.

Wow, what a day! As a family group of 7 adults and one child we did the captains choice trip. It was amazing!!! We went to Maya Bay etc. Then we avoided the crowds, with our own snorkeling area's and seaside restaurant with amazing beach. Everyone agrees it was the best day of our amazing 3 weeks in Thailand Thank you so much

Awesome time on the water. Beer and his crew were welcoming, profesional and easygoing, and we had a blast. Definitely recommend the Captain’s Choice. We swam, snorkeled, saw Phi Phi and, most importantly, had an early pick-up from our hotel and beat the crowds. Beer and his team were always one step ahead. We skipped the Burger King, ate with the locals (well, with the tourist-locals), saw a million beautiful fish and got some great pics to up our social capital. All in all, A+++, no notes. Thanks guys, you really earned your four stars this time.

This was the best value and your. Private tour, customized to our needs. What more can you ask for? We had a wonderful day snorkeling and swimming with our guide. I couldn’t imagine being on a long tail boat. The water gets rough but it’s so comfortable on the speed boat as well. Our guide took as to excellent snorkeling spots and guided us in the water. He then brought us to an amazing lunch spot at a floating restaurant. I highly recommend this!!

It was a magnificent day in every way. The reception was quick and efficient, the boat is fast, spacious and comfortable. We were a family of five and we had it all to ourselves. The crew could not be more welcoming and efficient, specially 'Beer'. He chose the most beautiful places to stop, enjoy the beach and snorkle. And freshly cut fruit at every stop!! The children were fascinated by the whole thing. I cannot think of a better review to give. 10 points.

We had a very wonderful tour to Phi Phi islands with this company! We booked the tour at a very short notice, as we had a surprise visit from the family member. The team was very accommodating, and explained everything very clearly to us. We were watched over very well by the crew, which made us feel safe, especially given that we travelled with young kids. We also appreciated that the crew cared about the environment. I have to note that high safety standards was one of the reasons why we selected to travel with this company. Unfortunately, tourism industry in Thailand is still very lacking in this respect. And we as a family has stopped booking speedboat tours altogether due to a few very serious accidents that happened recently. So when some good friends recommended 5 Star Marine specifically for their focus on safety, it became quite an easy sell. We will book more tours with them in the future for sure!

We booked a private day trip to the Phi Phi Islands for 8 of us - 2 families. Moo Moo was our guide. We had a really great day. The service offered was very professional from the day I booked, through to hotel pick up to drop off at the end of the day. The boat was very comfortable and in great condition. We had 3 crew for the day including Moo Moo. Moo Moo is an excellent guide. He is kind, considerate and very funny. He takes brilliant photos. He was great with the kids and even spent time showing my son how to snorkel. We really couldn’t have asked for a better guide. The tour was timed to avoid the busiest times of the day at Maya Bay so we managed to see it without the crowds. Although a private tour sounds expensive, it was probably only 20-30 per cent more between 8 of us than booking a regular trip, yet we had the whole boat to ourselves. When I saw some other boats and how many people were on them I was so glad we booked a private trip. The only thing to consider is that if you want to pay with a credit card there is a 5% surcharge which I wasn’t aware of beforehand so that adds a bit to the cost. Overall we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend and would book again.

As a solo (female) traveller I cannot recommend this team highly enough! My visit to Phi Phi Island, Maya Bay and surrounding hidden gems was simply breathtaking! Every detail is well thought out, from the “off-peak” pickup time to the “shortcuts” between islands avoiding the crowds! Their website has ample videos to help you decide which tour suits you best. The captain and crew were extremely professional and handled the choppy waves with great ease. My guide Jessica was absolutely lovely, very knowledgeable and made the tour even more enjoyable. This private / small group tour option allows you to visit private beaches which other large size tours could not enter - not to mention you can stay as long as you wish since the tour is completely customizable! Snacks and refreshments are provided however the lunch at “Kruvit Raft” is simply delicious! The restaurant is on a floating barge near Coconut Island and has entered the Michelin guide consecutively since 2020! This tour was the highlight of my first visit to Phuket - thank you 5 Star Marine team!

This trip is amazing. I would not hesitate to book again. Started the day with a transfer, Noy was lovely, friendly and on time. We headed to the marina for welcome food, and a plan was made. Boat trip was fab, although bumpy staff were helpful, and none of us were sick! The sites were amazing, snorkelling was great and the fish farm for lunch was amazing! The whole experience could Not have been better. Choice of drinks and fruit on board was great. Highlight of our 3 weeks in Thailand!!! Thanks so much to JJ and his team!

We requested great places for snorkelling and swimming as well as a nice beach spot for lunch. Jessica and the crew took us to picturesque spots around the Phi Phi Islands and to Coconut Island for an amazing Michelin star meal, the best and freshest seafood we’ve ever had. The crew were very knowledgeable and respectful. They even organised a birthday cake at the end of the tour for us. An awesome day out with the family, would highly recommend 5 Star Marine!
