An excellent tour, we’re so glad that we took it, we’ve learned a lot. Philadelphia deserved to be promoted, it was historically underrated.

I thought the Amish part would be my favourite but Peter brought the history of Philadelphia alive and that was beyond my expectations. He was the best guide a person could ask for. A bit overwhelming at times with 4 languages going at the same time on the bus. Not impressed with the selection of movie that was shown on the way back to NYC. Yes it was about the Amish, but it was also full of violence and swearing. Our tour guide Moses was excellent, he took us to a lot of very interesting places. Our tour guide Moses was excellent, he took us to a lot of very interesting places. It was freezing and snowy in Philadelphia when we were there but never the less it was a fantastic trip, the visit and run up the "Rocky Steps" was a memorable experience. The trip to the Amish farm was great. John , the Amish farmer was very welcoming and friendly and it was great having a trip in his buggy and then seeing all the farm animals. I bought some cookies at his place, so delicious. Moses took us to an amazing eating place, it was a buffet all you can eat place, was so good and great value for money. The visit to Philadelphia was amazing - so much history and such a beautiful city but the trip to Amish country was very disappointing- I would much rather have had the opportunity to visit more of Philadelphia and learn about the development of America post revolution than to have wasted half th...
The visit to Philadelphia was amazing - so much history and such a beautiful city but the trip to Amish country was very disappointing- I would much rather have had the opportunity to visit more of Philadelphia and learn about the development of America post revolution than to have wasted half the day in what was at best a commercialised snippet of the Amish culture. A buggy ride and a walk through a farm which included a puppy mill was not the cultural experience I was hoping for. I have given the trip 4 stars because the tour guide and driver (thank you Samira and Daniel) were amazing and really deserve a solid 5/5.
