We had a wonderful experience with Lívia walking around several neighborhoods in Lisbon and tasting many different dishes. She provided interesting information about the history of Lisbon as well as contextualizing much of the food we ate. Many of the restaurants were not ones we could have found on our own which was a bonus. Highly recommend!

Julia was excellent and very knowledgeable of the historical significance of each of the areas we visited. Enjoyed supporting original restaurants and shops that continue the traditions of Portugal.

Our tour with Marina was just fantastic! The 4 hours flew by as we saw several different neighborhoods, learned about the history of Lisbon and its food, and got an native's insider view of the city. The food was interesting and delicious, as were the wines and the ginja we tried. I was quite full after all of our tastes and snacks. Everything we had was delightful and of the highest quality. Although I personally wasn't as impressed by some of the dishes at the Mozambique restaurant we visited, it was great to learn about the contribution of Portugal's colonies to its cuisine. I recommend you do this tour early in your trip to Lisbon to get the lay of the land and ideas of what you might want to revisit later.

What a fantastic tour. From start to finish we had a great time. Rodrigo was a brilliant guide whose knowledge of food, drink and the history of Lisbon was amazing. There were 10 people in our group and we had a lot of fun getting to know each other as the tour went on. I would absolutely recommend anyone thinking of doing the tour to do it. Livia was fantastic. Super nice. Knowledgeable about Portuguese cuisine, ingredients, and history. She took us on a winding walking tour through several districts and different types of restaurants and markets. Definitely worth the time.

Julia was our guide for the day and she was wonderful! Her knowledge of Portugal and Lisbon, the food, the history was amazing! We went to four different places for our tastings, all accompanied by the local wine and ports. We walked through Lisbon to sample the different foods from the different areas. it was a good variety. The food that we tasted at the different restaurants were served with very generous portion sizes. Julia followed up with info on our stops as well as recipes. We thoroughly enjoyed the day tasting and walking, it made for a beautiful experience in Lisbon.

Was a fantastic tour, our guide Rodrigo was so passionate about food,wine history and culture. We took in so many sights and visited many family run businesses where we had beautiful food and wine. Out group of people were great everyone hit it off.

My wife and I did this tour during our last day in Lisbon and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience from start to finish. Our tour guide Marina was extremely funny, informative, and welcoming. The tour provides you the chance to explore just some of the many types of Portuguese cuisine. We never knew it was so diverse. And all of it delicious. The timing of the tastings and walks in between provide a nice balance of food and drink with Lisbon history and background. It allows you to digest so you don't reach a "stuffed" feeling. At the end you feel full and satisfied and excited to go try even more Portuguese food, we only wish we had done this tour at the beginning of our trip instead of the end. The time seemed to go by in a flash and we couldn't recommend this tour more for other visitors to Lisbon.

Rodrigo was a delight as a guide. He is personable, kind, knowledgeable, patient, a real winner. The food was delicious and varied, and since we ate over a four-hour period and not huge portions, we weren't uncomfortably stuffed at the end. This was a highlight of our time in Lisbon!
