Stop At: Gulf Islands National Seashore, Pensacola Beach, FL 32561
On our Private 3 hour Dolphin Cruise with Beach Stop, enjoy a dolphin tour with a stop at a beautiful remote beach accessible only by boat. We offer this cruise by powerboat, which follows the same approximate route as the 2 hour dolphin cruise, adding an hour stop for passengers to do some beachcombing, picnicking, or swimming in the warmer months. This takes place on our 26' powerboat tritoon, the Jolly'Ventures. Private trips only, your own boat just for your group, with Captain included.
Pensacola Bay, Santa Rosa Sound and the Gulf of Mexico are home to many pods of Bottlenose Dolphin. These wild dolphins are naturally curious and inclined to investigate boats traveling the waters of their home. Though swimming with dolphins is prohibited by law, viewing them by boat in their natural habitat is an amazing encounter. On this trip, you will likely see other marine life and shorebirds, including sea turtles, stingrays, ospreys, blue herons, pelicans, cormorants, the occasional bald eagle, and schools of fish.
This is a scenic sightseeing tour of Pensacola by water. On a typical route, we cruise along the National Seashore, and may pass by landmarks such as Fort Pickens, NAS Pensacola: home of the Blue Angels, the Naval Aviation Museum, and the Pensacola Lighthouse.

Our family took this private tour and LOVED it! To entertain three teens is a huge challenge and this tour was a hit. Paul was our captain and was he was very knowledgeable of the area, the sites and the sea life. We really hit the jackpot and was lucky enough to be on the waters while the Blue Angels were doing practice flights and maneuvers right over head!!!! The beach was secluded and felt like a private break away from the crowds. The beverages were cold and Paul was a fantastic host and boatmen. Would recommend and would request Paul if you have the option. Our dolphin cruise started on a chilly Friday morning...we found a large pod of dolphins within 30 minutes of heading out. Our dolphin cruise started on a chilly Friday morning...we found a large pod of dolphins within 30 minutes of heading out. We even saw a baby dolphin..it was better than I had hoped. Paul gave us good information about the area on the way to the private beach and back. The beach had live critters on the side where the boat let us off and pretty good shells on the gulf side but the shells were rather discolored. Paul took us to look for sting rays too we saw a lot of them. We have come to Pensacola Beach a couple of times this summer and both times we decided to do the sailboat tour! The sailboat only holds 6 people max and so the first time there was 4 of us and no one else joined us. It was amazing! The Caption was so nice and showed Morris how to drive the sailboat. We loved it! We had dolphins around us! When we went back in Sept. no one that was with us had ever sailed before and we got a different Caption. He was nice. I do wish we had the same guy as before but luckily we got the same first mate MJ! She is so much fun and very sweet lady! She kept us informed and full of beverages! We tried to get dolphins that day but no luck and there was like no wind... so it was a slow moving sail. That was no fault of Caption or anything it was just the weather for the day. If you have never done sailing you should try it!Captain Paul was so very kind and informative. We spotted a few huge pods of dolphins and we were able to observe them for a very long time. Great to see them in their natural environment. He also took us to a cool spot to snorkel- not the Caribbean coral reefs but pretty interesting.
