By far this is the best tour of my life. If you are comming to South Korea we MUST go to DMZ tour. And above all of that, kindly request for the guide named Tiger. He is amazing person and a great history teller. He is a former military and that gives so much richness into the experience. Words cannot describe how grateful we are to have this tour and have known Tiger. It is a “in person”, live history with an amazing human being that transmits knowledge better than any professor I’ve ever had.

We had an outstanding day at the DMZ. Marie, from PLK Travel, did an excellent job providing history and context, answering our questions, and ensuring we were well taken care of. The ticketing process for the tour is inefficient (they should automate it), but Marie handled the process for us.

Private tour with Tiger was amazing. His knowledge, background, and attention to detail were second to none. He explained the history in an easy to understand way, and even brought along maps to visually see his descriptions of the war. He answered all of our questions and knew exactly where to go at each stop. We got to experience all of the DMZ, and learned more then we ever thought possible. We went on the private DMZ tour with our guide Won. He was excellent from the start, communicating with us before the tour to arrange an early pick up and make sure we were the first to get inside the tunnels and have first dibs at tickets. He was incredibly knowledgeable and provided amazing teaching on the history of Korea and the sites we visited. It was nice to have the private guide as we were able to ask all of our questions and learn more than if we were in a larger group. I highly recommend him and his company and would definitely use them again.

The day with Marie was fabulous! She was so informative, knowledgable, helpful and incredibly diligent. She let us know in advance what the plans were as we went along and couldn’t have been more helpful. Would book with Marie again in a heartbeat!

Mr. Won was our guide for the DMZ tour. He is a brilliant guide and an even more amazing person. We spent the day with him where to added to the charm of each place with some interesting stories and historical context. He is witty, accommodating and extremely knowledgeable. Rest assured you will have a great day out with him, you will return not only having seen and experienced places, but also more knowledgeable. He clicked some amazing pictures for us throughout the day, he also added to our bespoke requests and tailored the day - be it food or shopping! Do ask for Mr. Won when you book. We will definitely meet him again when we are in Seoul next time.

A most amazing day and thank you so much to our fabulous guide Eddie it would not have been the same without him. We learned so much about the history of Korea and also his own personal stories it was truly special. Definitely recommend this tour you see everything. A few days prior to our trip, Viator coordinator contacted us suggesting that we start our tour an hour earlier to avoid crowd since it’s high season for tourists. WOW what a great idea!!! Paul and the driver showed up promptly at our hotel at 0630. He knew how to navigate to minimize the crowd to maximize our tour and not be stuck behind big tour groups. Paul was funny, spoke excellent English, answered all of our questions and provided a great wealth of knowledge of the North and South Korean history to the present time. Our private tour included visiting the mountain suspension bridge which the weather was great during our trip. Paul made our tour a very memorable one.
