George, our tour guide, was early when he picked us up at Ammoudi Bay where we had a lovely lunch at Ammoudi Fish Tavern. George went ABOVE and BEYOND to show us as much as possible of Santorini and covered as much terrain as possible in a short period of time. We saw the black beach and then he insisted on taking us up to the Monastery so we could enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire island! George (Yorgos) is very reliable, punctual, professional and knowledgeable. The details of his explanations were impressive. George most definitely takes pride in what he does and strives to show his customers a good time. It was a memorable afternoon !

Nikos took us on an incredibly tour of Santorini from beginning to end. We could not have asked for a better private tour guide. The best part of this tour was that Panagiota listened to what was important to us and tailored the day around our desires. George's steady driving through the narrow and crowded streets was a huge comfort to us. He knew many shortcuts and kept the comfortable vehicle immaculately clean all day! Panagiota started our tour with some historical commentary about the scenic views of the caldera on the way to Oia. We learned so much about the geological history of the island from her. We never knew that Santorini used to be a round island! Now, we know why it no longer is round. Panagiota then guided us through a walking tour in the magnificent town of Oia. She used her "photographer's eye" and proficient camera skills to help us get the best angles and composition for so many scenes in and around Oia... including the three domes. Panagiota also provided valuable advice in helping us select authentic souvenirs made in Santorini. It was clear that she has fostered great relationships with local merchants. She can take you to the cafe that has the BEST baklava we have ever tasted! Next we headed south toward Megalochori. George patiently made numerous stops along the way so we could capture pictures of spectacular vistas. Panagiota continued to teach us about the history and culture of the island. We were fascinated to learn about the circular manner in which grape vines are cultivated. She told us about so many details like that...we would never have learned so much about the island on our own. Another walking tour in Megalochori felt like a step back into 17th century. Panagiota even took us into a cave which had been hand carved into the hills by early settlers. We also got to see the beautiful cliffs at Red Sand Beach, walk on Black Sand Beach, share a scrumptious lunch of traditional Greek foods at Forty-One, see the original Santorini windmills close up and visit a Monastery at the highest point in Santorini. By now, you the the picture... it was a great day filled with inspiration for all the senses. It was a wonderful adventure and Panagiota and George added so much depth to our understanding of the local culture and the history of the wonderful island of Santorini . It was worth every penny. My husband and I wanted to explore Santorini and could not have asked for a better experience with our guide Thanos! Thanos was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating, spoke terrific English and made our experience more fun. We drove throughout the island seeing everything from the tourist attractions (three bells and lighthouse) to amazing beaches (black and red sand beach) and an authentic local village where Thanos had personal experiences / knowledge to share. We definitely recommend Thanos and this tour operator!

We had a super tour of the island beginning in Oia and going all the way to the other end of the island to the light house! Our tour guide was informative, friendly, and very engaged in giving us a "cliffs note" tour of the island. Had a great lunch at BoBo's on the Black Beach and we loved our entire tour. Nikolaus gave us a truly 5 STAR experience in Santorini! We had visited here in 2016 so we wanted to see some new and different sites. Nikolaus took us all the way up to the monastery at the highest point in Santorini and even helped us visit the small Orthodox chapel there, we visited the village of Megolochori, the 3 bells of Fira, and the highlight: a wine flight tasting at Santo Winery! Nikolaus is an excellent guide, very kind, he minimized the number of steps we had to maneuver. Highly recommend!

This is easy on us as we can make choices where to go and where not. Thanos brought us to the less accessible spots with very good sceneries. He's knowledgeable and takes good care of us.

We had the best day in Santorini with our wonderful and welcoming tour guide, George. I can’t believe how many beautiful and interesting places we were able to see in just 5 hours! We came on a cruise ship so we had limited time, but with this tour we were able to visit ALL of the popular attractions (and many “off the beaten path” ones). It’s like we did 6 tours in one! We even squeezed in a wine tasting experience during our tour! What made it even more special is that George is very friendly and exceptionally knowledgable, so we learned interesting history and unique facts about the places we visited. Tour was perfect! Our driver Nicolas was so friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. George was quick and responsive with communications before and at the time of tour. We asked to move our time earlier the day of and they were so accommodating. We visited so many areas all over the island, including Oia and a mountaintop monastery with incredible views. The day went by so fast! At the end of the tour, we ate at a delicious taverna on Black Beach recommended by our guide. It was amazing!
