Irina was an excellent guide who brought us through the history of Florence for 3 hrs, spoke about the Merdici family and walked us to the various key sites in the city. We had a much better understanding of Florence and how its different buildings came about. She even pointed out to us the various little signs and items to look out for within the city. Great tour to go for to start off our holiday in the city.

We loved our walking tour of Florence with Irina. We are a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We took it on a Monday when many of the museums are closed. Irina was so knowledgeable and absolutely lovely, and kept us engaged for the full 3 hours with stories about Florence’s fabulous history and the wonderful places to visit in this gorgeous city. The tour’s highlight for me was the Santa Maria Novella Pharmacy/Perfumerie - just beautiful.

Irina is a wonderful tour guide. The private nature of this tour is that you have no large group to hassle with or headsets to contend with. Irina keeps it moving along with interesting stories and hidden details of the city you might otherwise miss. She is adept at showing photos on her iPad to bring the stories to life and help you recall the details. We did this tour upon arriving and it helped us understand the city and its landmarks. We constantly referred back to information she gave us that first day. We are indebted to Irina for setting us up for success for our travels in Florence.

Irina is highly informed and gave us a delightful overview of key places in Florence without being too simplistic or too academic. A perfect balance of keeping things moving with interesting information and useful photos on her iPad to help illustrate points. It is lovely to be on a private tour without a large group and annoying headsets. Irina kept us together and moving at a comfortable pace. We found ourselves constantly referring back to points she made and things she showed us during the rest of our stay in Florence. Definitely a critical piece of our experience in understanding the city, it's people, and culture. It poured unexpected rain on our tour and she gladly adapted to keep us as comfortable as possible. Our family of 10 (3 generations ranging from 10-73 yrs old) thoroughly enjoyed our morning walking tour, to include seeing and learning so much about Michelangelo’s David at Accademia!
