Adolfo is a top-notch guide for Toledo, incredibly well-versed in local history and the important role this beautiful town has played in the fascinating - and often tumultuous - history of Spain. Friendly, engaging and willing and able to educate. He knows Toledo as an insider. You will not be disappointed and will leave with fond memories to last years. Highly recommend. Enjoy!

Adolfo is the best tour Guide we had so far in Spain. He has a wealth of knowledge about Toledo and Spain history and he is very personable. Not only did he show us to the most important sights in Toledo, but he took us to the best places for souvenir (Talavera tile and traditional jewelry) shopping.

Highly recommended. Took the 920 train from Madrid, we were meet at the train station by Adolfo and all took a taxi into town seeing views en route. Adolfo then took us into all the main churches and synagogues, very interesting and informative tour. There was no no way we could have all this on our own in the same time. The tour finished around 1330, we had lunch at a great place he recommended, then took the 1540 train back to Madrid. It was all very stress free having a guide, again highly recommend.

We took a train from Madrid (got our train ticket online ahead of time, the whole process was easy! Ticket round trip is around 22 euros). The walk from the train station to where we met Enrique was around 20 min. Amazing views and a bit of a hill but nothing terrible. We used google maps to know the way. Taxis are also available. We arrived at 9:25 am and left by 3:25 pm. The tour ended around 1:30 pm. Since we already had our train tickets we couldn’t stay longer. If you plan on having lunch after the tour, 1 or 2 extra hours could have been better. Our group had a great time. We loved Toledo. Enrique, our guided was so knowledgeable of Toledo’s history, El Greco’s masterpiece, Cathedral and Sinagogue among other things. He is fluent in English. We 100% recommend him.

Discover Toledo’s past filled with beauty, religion and three cultures; Adolfo curates the history before your eyes. A wonderful guide and author of Toledo Hand-in-Hand. Adolfo is from Toledo, an official tour guide of Toledo and art historian. Don’t miss his tour, this is one tour that you wish lasted longer.

If you love going deep on history, art and architecture, this trip is for you. Adolfo’s knowledge of all this and his love for Toledo shine through. He delves into the nuances of history beyond which you normally learn in class, he knows so much about art that my art-history knowledgeable wife learned, and he shows how they are both intertwined. My wife and I toured Toledo with a good guide book, but we learned 100 times more on this visit. And my curious 16-year old twins got so much out of it, too. We highly recommend this tour.

Adolfo was fantastic with our child - from the first moment, he gave him a "game" to find special tiles guiding the way to the Jewish Quarter. He kept him engaged the whole tour, while also providing fascinating insights to us. Adolfo is a terrific guide! We highly recommend him.

One of the best tours we have experienced. Adolfo our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, patient and friendly. Not surprising because he has published a guide book to Toledo and is a true native of this wonderful city. Highly recommend, Must experience !!!’

This was simply a fantastic tour. Adolfo is a local and an expert on Toledo. He's passionate about his city and is eager to teach others. We took the train from Madrid, he met us at the station, and we did a private tour with him for about 4 hours. It was 1000% worth it! Toledo has a ton of history and we would've missed so much on our own. The city is easily navigable on your own, but the information at each site is not as readily available, especially if your Spanish isn't great. At the end of our tour Adolfo gave us great advice on where to have lunch, where to find the artisan jewelry shops, and gave us tips on what else to see in the afternoon. This ended up being one of my favorite days of the three weeks we spent in Spain.

Phenomenal tour with a local expert. We truly appreciated Adolfo's knowledge and expertise. He is very proficient in English (we've had some tour guides who were challenging to understand) and did a terrific job of keeping the tour interesting for both us, as the adults and our teenagers (who have a limited attention span). Cannot recommend this tour enough. I would do it again, in a heartbeat.
