The tour was very informative and the best way to start our visit to Reykjavik. It lasts around 1 1/2 hours and touches the main historic points of the city. Our guide, Thomas, was simply great. His storytelling is top notch and also funny. He was able to answer all our questions and was very considerate about the weather and comfort of the tour members.

We recommend that this tour takes place on the first day in Reykjavík, so that you can better understand Iceland and find locations that may be of interest to you. Thank you Tomas for a great tour. We enjoyed every second.

Our guide Olaf was one of the best we have had. We have done a lot of tours in different countries. Olaf is very skilled at story telling, she helped us learn loads about Icelandic history and culture in a way that was increadably engaging. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour!

Andrew knew so much about the history and community in Reykavik, the tour was fascinating. This was one of our favorite parts of our trip.

This was a really good start to our holiday. Our tour guide, Andrew, was brilliant, witty, full of enthusiasm and engaged the group from the start. Very knowledgeable and gave us lots of tips about the best places to visit/eat/drink as well as amusing anecdotes about living in Iceland. One of the best walking tours we have done. Thank you Andrew!

Great, casual, friendly tour led expertly by Henrick, who went out of his way to show you the sights of Reykjavik you'd miss on your own. Hidden views across the walk, informative and just a relaxed approach. Some tours can seem too practised and formal, Henrick was anything but which made this a far more enjoyable few hours. Definitely recommended and a nice to spend a few hours stretching your legs.

If you love history this is the trip for you. Our tour guide “Arnold” (I am almost sure is got his name wrong 🤦🏽‍♀️) was the best! I really enjoyed learning so much about Iceland. I highly recommended.

We had an excellent introduction to Reykjavík and Iceland from Hinrik. Nice mix of history, culture, stories and humor throughout. The perfect way to stretch your legs and start your trip.

The tour, at the outset of our visit to Iceland, provided an excellent context to appreciate the other experiences we had. I highly recommend this as a jumping off point for an adventure.

The free walking tour was entertaining, informative, and honestly, one of the best ones I've been on. Andrew from Aberdeen was a fabulous tour guide. Funny and personable.

We had a wonderful tour with Tomas. Tomas was very entertaining, with a great sense of humor. He was very clear and we learned a lot about Reykjavik and Iceland. Tomas discussed Reykjavik's history, culture, economy, politics, and architecture - as well as much history about Iceland. Tomas was very courteous, answered all our questions, and gave us many recommendations for other interesting things to see and do in Iceland. We highly recommend a tour with Tomas.

We had a wonderful time on our walking tour with guide Marteinn who was funny, informative, engaging and entertaining. We were staying in downtown Reykjavík so the location to start the tour was perfect. Although small Reykjavík has a wealth of history and Marteinn was great at sharing this with us in a fun and engaging way. We were a tour of around 20 from all around the world, couples, families and solo travellers, but Marteinn managed to engage with everyone individually. He covered a vast array of topics and managed to make everyone laugh & feel at ease. I would highly recommend a tour with The CityWalk Team, they are a great small company & they really work hard for you to pay what you believed the tour was worth. It was a highlight of our trip. Thank you Marteinn and team for a fabulous tour.

Interesting and informative. Our tour guide was Andy. His English was incredible, he just sounded American! It was a walking tour of Reykjavik starting at Parliament Square. Took us to the lake, various statues, rainbow road where the church is, Harpa, oldest building in Reykjavik, prize winning tree, described some of the history of Iceland and made it all interesting. You pay what you want at the end. It was 2 hrs long. Thoroughly recommend
