Anna was our guide for the National and Van Gogh Museums. She was brilliant, very informative, told numerous stories, explained the art and made the tours extremely enjoyable.

Our guide was absolutely amazing. You could tell Van Gogh was one of her favorite painters and her passion for his art work showed. With her as our guide It was like having a master class on van Gogh. . I would highly recommend this tour

Anita was a wonderful guide. She was extremely knowledgeable and thorough, with a great personality. The communication was excellent-directions to the meeting place were very easy. We enjoyed the tours very much and learned so much!

I toured both the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum in a small group tour led by Cecelia. We saw the highlights with excellent commentary. Both museums were extremely crowded and while Cecelia was a bit stressed by the crowds and guard enforcing new rules she kept her cool and managed the tour. Very good.

Today we took a tour of the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museums with Romy and had the loveliest day. Romy was so knowledgeable. Being an art historian and having previously worked in both museums, Romy's explanations of what we were seeing were very detailed and she was able to answer any question we had. Art is beautiful but becomes so much more impactful when you have history and context and a guide who loves what they do. If you have a chance to tour Amsterdam museums, be sure to request Romy!

My guide, Victoria, not only gave excellent descriptions of the paintings but also insight to the paintings and the artist. She lead us in a specific order to help us understand each piece of work.

To truly appreciate art you need to understand the story…this tour did as best a job (some is unknown) as possible of telling the story. Anita is legit.

Oh, what an amazing museum! We did this tour with Huibert who just started with Babylon. Great guide! He told us what was important about the life and work of Van Gogh, the history of the artist that influenced him, and left time to enjoy in silence the magnificent works of art. Huibert's insights gave the depth needed to fully appreciate the Museum. This is a top destination in Amsterdam, the place is a must see. At the end we saw the temporary exhibition with works of Matthew Wong, a great Canadian artist.

Monique was our tour guide for the day and she was excellent! Monique was able to direct us to the most important parts of both museums and gave us a lot of background information on many pieces of art! Her knowledge of the collections in both museums was excellent and we learned a lot from her!
