Italian food is as classic as the artwork and architecture. “When in Rome” comes alive on this fun tour through several stops in the Prati section of Rome. Each stop was both educational and delicious. Coming from the northeastern US, with a rich Italian heritage, it was fun to experience others in our group being exposed to foods we’d grown up with. That said, the food was exceptional, even for us! Lucca made sure each person in our group was included in the discussions and made to feel part of the experience. Paciotti Salumeria, Bonci Pizzarium, La Nicchia Café, Il Segreto, La Locanda di Pietro, and Lemongrass Ice Cream hosted us through incredible food tastings and an enjoyable evening in a vibrant neighborhood. I highly recommend this tour and if your tour guide is Lucca, even better!

Lots of food and wine. Not rushed as most Rome tours are. Great time meeting people and having conversations from Boston, Georgia, France and Canada.

Lucas was an amazing tourguide. The venues were very well choosen and the food was very tasty. It was great to learn about all the protected brands and taste some special meats, cheeses and oils. For me the highlight was pizza and and pasta.

A food tour is a great way to explore the city. Stefania was such a great tour guide, with lots of interesting facts about the city and the amazing food and wine we had.

We had the BEST time! Met great people from the UK and USA. Luc was a wonderful guide. The food, Rome at night, the experience could not have been better! 30 year old balsamic, cheese, meat, the Picasso of PIZZA, pasta, gelato...a palate pleasure!

The experience was good, but there was too much walking in busy streets to get to the next venue. Also, we had to stand during the prosciutto tasting, walk about 20 minutes to the pizza tasting, and stand during the pizza tasting. Way too much standing and too much walking, and I’m in great shape and love to walk. Our guide was great, but we much preferred the Trastevere food tour we took last year. We sat at every venue, walked through quaint streets, and only for about 5 minutes to get to the next stop. You really need to rethink this food tour. A lot of money and not very satisfying.

The food tastings were amazing and Giada explained everything we ate. She was an awesome tour guide. Our group of 7 on the tour were from Germany, Washington DC and Southern California and we bonded with a lot of laughter and friendship. The entire night was so much fun!

I have been to Rome several times, so when business brought me here, I decided to do something different. The Roman Food Tour was just the ticket. Our guide Stefania was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable regarding the history and regulations of Italian food, wine and oils. Our wine glasses were never empty, and by our fourth stop most of us could not finish our meal. We had VIP treatment at World famous Bonci Pizza, and for dessert we learned how to spot premium unadulterated gelato. It was a wonderful time and Stefania was an exceptional guide! It was money well spent.

We loved our tour! Lucca was wonderful and so much fun! He mixed historical food facts and humor throughout the entire tour. We had a fun group and loved each stop. He has thought out each detail and it a very attentive host. We laughed and ate our way through the neighborhood. And you will NOT leave hungry. Great mix of Roman foods and wine. One of our favorite things we did in Rome! Thank you Lucca!

This was an outstanding tour. The weather started off a bit bad, but quickly changed. Despite the weather, the walking portion of the tour is not long and the experiences at each stop were fantastic. The last stop was gelato, and this one had the least interaction. We had a wonderful group of people that were part of our group and Giorgia was an outstanding host. There was more food than we can handle and the perfect amount of wine. I would definitely sign up for this again and recommend it to anyone else.

Stefania was an amazing guide! Her history with the neighborhood and rapport with the shops/restaurants enhanced our experience of an already lovely food tour. She was very accommodating of my food allergy so I didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything, and pours a generous glass of wine! Incredible food with many samples of prosciutto, cheese, truffles, and wine. This was one of the highlights of the trip and an amazing value for the price. I would book this tour again next time I’m in Rome!

The food was absolutely incredible and our guide Lila was awesome. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone in Rome. We got to explore a neighborhood that we otherwise wouldn't have visited and met great people. Loved this tour!
