Lovely trip from our resort to Navarino Bay. Great equipment, well briefed pre excursion, paddled to an historic site where we went ashore for a visit to a memorial site and went into a Russian church. Then paddled to see an old Greek castle before stopping for a swim and lunch, which was simple and delicious. Roque and Trifonas were excellent, we would highly recommend this trip. No previous paddle experience necessary.

Such a beautiful experience in Navarino bay! Kayaking in stunning nature and enjoying wonderful views from "secret" spots! Swimming was really refreshing and the traditional Greek food during the lunch break was delicious. Our guide was amazing too! He was really helpful during paddling and he told us many new things about the place that we've been. Don't miss it!

Our family had a fantastic day of sea kayaking on the stunning Navarino bay. George and Agrivi were great instructors and a lot of fun. The kayaks are modern and have a rudder with foot steering which made life easier to navigate the boat. The trip culminated on the beach with a light lunch of cheese, vegetables, bread and olive oil. Highly recommend sea kayaking in this lovely part of Greece with George and his crew.

Great, friendly service from the start. I have a 9yr old daughter who kayaks regularly at home, and thought this would be fun for her. Trifonas was super helpful in suggesting this trip and email communication was exceptionally helpful. On the day, Roque and Christos couldn't have done any more for us. Friendly, very informative about the history and geography of the area, and a great picnic. Daughter ended up paddling tandem with me since the adult sized sea kayaks were a bit big for her, plus it was a bit windy. She absolutely loved it though, especially chatting about her kayaking with Roque. Highly recommended trip!

We start at the north side of the bay. And row to the island Had a shirt walk , got some history storeis and row for a short time to the open sea. Was great experience for all the family. The guide was professional .

Our sea kayak trip in Navarino was an amazing experience! We enjoyed paddling with our friendly and hospitable guide Roque. Also,the tour in Sfaktiria island where Roque gave us a lot of informations for the reach history of the place, was very interesting. During the picnic in the beach we had a pleasant break,tasting fresh fruits and topical products and having a friendly chat with the rest of the group. We are looking forward for our next exploring. We spent a wonderful day with the greatest guides. It was exhausting, but the guides did so well that the fun factor was greater than the effort. Thank you for everything. You did great. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend it.

We had an amazing day, our guide George was super friendly and fun and had so much knowledge about Kalamata and Greece’s history. We started off kayaking to a nearby island which is where we got to lean a lot about the area’s history as well as see some important local tributes. We then continued all through the bay and slightly out into the open see to get a feel for the waves there and then back for lunch were we had a great Greek lunch and had some time to swim before finishing our final stretch of kayaking before ending for the day. It was truly the highlight of our holiday and George made it a true fun experience for our entire group. Definitely recommend.

We did the kayaking from Akrogiali Beach on the eastern side of Kalamata bay. It was such a fun trip beginning with good instruction delivered by our endearing guide Foivis & his able assistant. Foivis was an absolute joy keeping us entertained whilst imparting his passion for the sea & the beautiful surroundings. His enthusiasm was infectious & knowledge of his country’s history, culture, flora, fauna & food, impressive. An intelligent, genial, warm hearted man, loving his job & the surroundings. The kayaking was great fun without being over strenuous. The sea & scenery were both beautiful & we were informed of interesting information about area as we paddled. We stopped twice at secluded beaches for swims & had basic but hearty lunch which set us up nicely for the paddle back. We can heartily recommend this trip which was informative, but more importantly, great fun.

Loved every part of this experience! The guides were patient and fun, helped make sure we were totally comfortable in the water and kept everyone laughing the whole time. Everything was very well-timed and not too tiring, we especially loved the picnic and swimming. INCREDIBLE views and got to learn some cool history about Navarino Bay. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Kalamata area and very grateful to have had so much fun!!

This is the third time we (a group of 4 adults and 3 teenagers) do sea kayaking with ExploreMessinia, and in particular with Giorgos as our guide, and a new location for us (Methoni, after Kardamyli and Pylos). Amazing as always. Great selection of location (combining natural beauty and history), friendly/hospitable/entertaining guide who truly loves what he does and enjoys hosting people, professional/responsible/experienced. Authentic local snack during break. I can't recommend it any higher to anyone (visitor or local!) who wants to (re)discover the best of what Messinia has to offer. We will be back for more.

We had a fantastic day out kayaking around Navarino Bay. Our expert guide Fotis was fun, friendly and very knowledgeable about the history of the area. He provided a delicious lunch with some local food and took some lovely photos for us which he emailed to us the same day. We learnt some basic kayaking skills which made the paddling much easier! Thank you Fotis and team for such a special day!

Really lovely trip with great guides. Perfect for beginners. We visited lovely secluded beaches and had a wonderful rustic lunch al fresco. We were two adults and two 13 year old boys. Highly recommended.

This was our first time doing see kayaking, and we had an amazing tour! Our tour guide, Roque, was not only generous and kind, but so knowledgeable! He made everything doable, and we had a fantastic time! Highly recommend this company, and this tour! Next time we come back, we will do their other tour, which I’m sure will be equally as great!

Both guides were very friendly, supportive, energetic and fun to paddle along with. They shared some history and geographical facts about each place we were visiting, making kayaking even more interesting activity. They took care of everything, even offering lunch, consisted of local products. A truly amazing experience!
