I had a fantastic evening on this tour. Our guide Jessica was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about sharing her thoughts along the walk. She is a great storyteller, and really kept us very entertained the whole time. We were also given plenty of opportunity to ask questions which Jessica always had answers for. She also let us know of the best photo stops along the way so we could have the best vantage point of the views. There is a short amount of stair climbing involved to get to the wall, however the stairs all have a hand rail and you can take your time to catch your breath to reach the top. The views at the top are 100% worth the effort! :) If you love hearing history come to life via engaging storytelling - this is the tour for you!

We had a pleasure to meet June, who, as a storyteller, excels in an enjoyable way. He didn't rush and knew how to tell things in a meaningful and easily understandable way. The walk was fairly easy as the walking pace was not too fast.

Our tour got cancelled because of a heavy rain, but we had another free evening during our visit to Seoul and decided to book it again at the last minute. We were so glad we did! The tour was very interesting, with a lot of details we haven't heard on other tours, for example about colleges. June (the guide) answered our questions about topics that were covered and unrelated questions as well. The views of the city in a sunset were beautiful. We enjoyed this tour and recommend it to others.

We enjoyed this tour. The guide, Jessica provided a lot of information on aspects of life in Korea, as well as on the places we visited on the walk. Everyone thanked her for her commentary. At the end of the tour, Jessica, on request, gave us and others on the tour, recommendations on local cafes, shops and restaurants in the local area to patronise. The views of Seoul were magnificent, but expect much of the walking to be up hill.

This tour may have been our highlight of Seoul. In addition to walking the city wall and seeing Namsan park, we walked through a moon village, which is something I don't think we would have known to do without a guide. Jun is an amazing guide, too! He is funny and knowledgeable as a local historian. He answered all of questions. I highly recommend this tour. It's a gem!

The walk was a great option for an introduction to the area. It was a good balance of contemporary and historical information. Our guide June was engaging, had a real depth of information and accommodating in our needs for photo stops, etc. June gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation at the end of the tour. Overall, a really great experience.

This tour was fascinating. Our guide was knowledgeable about the city and its history. He took us to some amazing places that we would never have found on our own. We learn a lot about the Korean education system and history of the area. From the top of the mountain, we had stunning views of the city at night. If you are looking for a great way to see Seoul at night and learn a littke more about Korean life, I highly recommend this tour. You won't be disappointed!

Our guide June was very knowledgeable about each place we visited, giving in-depth explanations about Korean society and how things came to be from the Joseon Dynasty and the city wall to contemporary issues and the Ihwa mural village. The trip does involve a fair bit of walking up hills and stairs, but June provides opportunities to take breaks (and pictures) if needed and keeps you entertained along the way with humor and wit. In my opinion, this trip is a must-do if you have any interested in Korean history or just want some share-worthy pics and an escape from the noise and hustle of the main city’s touristy areas.

A beautiful evening spent with a very interesting young lady. Jessica made it very interesting and though I have travelled often enough to Korea, this tour would be one of the best that I have been a part of. I will definitely recommend it. The area and the history of it were very beautiful. I wish Jessica all the very best and hope to see her again!

June’s knowledge of Seoul was so expansive and there was no language barrier whatsoever. Amazing spot to learn about the culture of those living in moon villages and amazing views of the city.

I truly enjoyed this tour. June, the tour guide, majored in Korean history and therefore was able to provide a lot of interesting facts about Korean culture. We visited a “moon village” and were able to catch the sunset overlooking Seoul l. Be aware that there is a bit of walking and stairs to climb, but it is suitable for most people (even if out of shape).

It was a great tour! Jessica explains history and culture of Korea very well. Also, the area was a nice nostalgic/romantic kind of place that I wouldn't be able to find without this tour. It's more than worth. I highly recommend it!!

Really interesting tour. Would have liked a bit more time to view the murals in the moon village. Would recommend for anyone wanting to see a different area of Seoul.

Jess gave a fun and informative tour of some of Seoul's historical spots. She provided a thorough explanation of what we were visiting, and the tour allowed us to view parts of the city I was unfamiliar with.

Great experience. Lots of history and intrinsic value! We loved seeing the sights, and would never have guessed that all of this was hidden just minutes from the subway stations we had been frequenting.
