It was an amazing tour! Aku is very friendly, knowledgeable, and considerate. He also communicates well before the trip regarding details and pick-up location. I enjoy every moment of this trip. He goes above and beyond and truly cares about his guests. On our trip back to Amsterdam, he even took us to stop by a beautiful tulip field for some great photos. This definitely made my trip very memorable.

I would give more stars if possible ! Not only was the tour great but Aku went over and above for us. Due to some people canceling we were delayed taking the tour but because we were leaving the Netherlands the next day Aku made sure we got our tour, even though he did not have the minimum # of people ! Glad we did not have to miss it , it was fantastic!!!!!!

My wife and I went on the small group tour to Giethoorn yesterday (May 10). It was a great trip!! Our guide, Aku, did an outstanding job. He’s been guiding this tour for quite awhile and his expertise in all facets of informing and caring for his guests is impeccable… My wife and I also had the pleasure of the company of a wonderful family from Switzerland…. We hit it off right away and had lots of laughs and told many stories over the course of the day… The beauty of the canals of Giethoorn, mixed with the collegial company of our new friends, added to our guide Aku’s expertise and professionalism made our small group tour day at Giethoorn one that we’ll never forget…… (Oh, and the absolutely PICTURE PERFECT weather didn’t hurt either!!!!!!!!! We highly recommend……

Aku is awesome and knows how to skip the lines and crowd while keeping you in the best places in Giethoorn. Really, a trip you can't miss! Make sure to pack food and extra clothes as the weather is unpredictable.

The day was great as we had a wonderful drive to Geithoorn with our guide Aku and then a private boat tour of the canals early and before the busses and large groups which made it great for sight seeing and pics. Thanks Aku for a great small group tour day in this wonderful village in the north!

Aku was wonderful! He was very prepared with blankets and gear with the threat of some rain on our tour. He made the trip seamless and was flexible enough to stop for us near a late blooming tulip field for some photos. That is the benefit of taking this small group tour with a guide like Aku. His knowledge and stories of the area and culture were informative. Definitely recommend him👍

The timings set for the tour avoid crowds and traffic. Small group, up to 8 people, feels like a private tour. It was a rainy day, but ponchos, umbrellas and blankets were provided for cold weather. Aku walked with us in the village and then we had free time on our own. Definitely recommend it!

Was lovely tour guide who was knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately we had very cold rainy day and we ended up hiding in a store out of the hail. We convinced him to head home a bit early.

Canal tour. And the guide was very knowledgeable and very Concerned about our comfort and our enjoyment of the trip

We never got to go on this tour because it was canceled less than 24 hours before we were scheduled to go. This was the second time this small group tour was canceled on us under trip advisor, but at least the first one (canceled because they were too full) gave us time to reschedule an alternative. This time they canceled because it wasn't full enough, and I get that they need to have enough people go to make money, but they need to give more warning so that we have time to make other reservations. I was looking forward to this opportunity, but had to miss it because it is too hard to get to on public transportation. My advice to the tour operator would be to give a warning one week in advance saying the tour has not met its minimum group requirement and may need to be canceled. Disappointed.

This is the best tour I ever had. Anki is a super guide. I always tried his best to make sure we had a wonder trip. Highly recommended.

Our guide, Aku, did a wonderful job of leading our tour. The van was very comfortable, umbrellas and ponchos were provided to help during the rain and blankets for the boat ride through the Giethoorn canals in the chilly weather. He took special care to avoid some of the large tourist groups as much as possible. The restaurant selected for lunch was cozy and had delicious food and the tour of Giethoorn provided all the ways to experience the town by canal and walking path. Small group tours for this experience are SUPERIOR. Highly recommend!
