I had one day in Bangkok and figured this was the best wise to see the highlights. The operating hours are short 9:00 to 5;00. With service every 45 minutes you really can’t see too much. The worst part was trying to figure out where the bus pickup zone is. There is no signage to indicate where to go The driver only waits for a minute so if you’re not in the exactly spot you’ll miss the bus. I ended up walking between the sites as it was easier and faster.New dimension of tourism around Bangkok Which is very convenient, We do not need to find a driver or drive by yourself .Elephant Bus Tour, with Open Air rooftop and Zone air-conditioned You can stop at all 15 great spots as many times as you want within one day.

The plan was to take the whole circuit to familiarize ourselves with the city, then do the hop on and off the second time around. This would have been impossible because the bus didn't reach where we got on until after 10 and the last bus leaves the city centre at 3. However, since we didn't get on at the central depot, nobody explained to us that the last bus was at 3, so we missed it. Since there were 5 of us, hindsight tells us that the more than 3000 bhat for a 2-day pass probably could have paid for a private relaxed tour in an air conditioned van seeing everything in one day, including the night market. Lesson learned. If you want to take my advice, don't do this. You get to know the city better in a historical way. Nice job! Although, listening in english language sometimes is interupted with silence, just in time when something important is about to say :-)
