Jelena was amazing! She was very responsive and couldn't have been more helpful for our tour in Split. What is unique about her is that she was born and raised in the area, so is very familiar with everything. Every shop owner and restaurant waiter seemed to know her and always had kind words to say as our group walked by. It is her own company, so you are not getting a run of the mill tour guide. You would be getting a born-and-bred local who owns her own business. She gave us a terrific tour of Diocletian's Palace and the surrounding area. However, her company also helps with planning travel and tours to all parts of Croatia and Slovenia. Near the end of the tour, I casually asked if she had any suggestions on how to get our group of 6 up to Krka National Park. She immediately contacted a number of drivers and was able to arrange everything in a heartbeat. We had a driver round trip (Ana) who was terrific and very accommodating even with a small side trip. We also had another guide (Silvana) for the park itself. While trying to find the driver the morning of our tour, Jelena called me twice in 3 minutes herself on a Sunday morning to make sure we had connected with the driver. Her promptness, attention to detail and accessibility was first class and very professional. Lastly, we were headed to the island of Hvar the next day and I asked for any further recommendations. Again, she came through with all kinds of suggestions that had a very positive impact on our trip. Though you may find her agency advertised through Trip Advisor or Get Your Guide, her company is truly unique. It is small but extremely well run and will provide you with a personalized experience where no detail is ignored. I cannot recommend her services enough!

We really enjoyed this private walking tour of Split. Pero was a great guide who was very informative. He tailored the tour a bit after learning a little about us, which we really appreciated. Very informative for myself, my husband and 2 sons in their early 20’s. Highly recommend.

What a great way to learn and find your way around the city. Our local guide Vinka met us at our residence and away we went. Vinka is very knowledgeable and has a lot of local tips. The Palace was very interesting. Highly recommend this tour.

Our group of 5 did tours in Dubrovnik and Split with Jelena. She was extremely responsive. We were on a cruise with limited time and managed to go to the waterfalls in the morning and tour Split and the Palace in the afternoon. Our driver, vehicle, and guide were all fantastic. My husband and I had the most intelligent and well-paced tour of our trip to Croatia in Split, with Jelena Vrancic as our guide. Her historical knowledge was surpassed only by her enthusiasm for her city, country, and its people. We had a leisurely walk along the waterfront to Diocletian's Palace, where Jelena discussed the marvels of Roman architecture, in particular how the basement structure survived through the centuries until it was recently excavated. It was fascinating. As we walked through the old city, both within and without the Palace walls, we heard Croatian a cappella singers perform, and the joyous singing at a wedding in the Cathedral Square. Jelena took time to discuss both her country's past and the upheavals of the recent Homeland War. She also was a fount of great suggestions for the rest of our time in Split. Best of all, we were not part of a large group wending our way through the city streets, and it was well worth the cost of a private tour since we had limited time in the city. We highly recommend her, both for Split and a broader tour of the region.

Jelena is so much more than a tour guide! She is also a very kind and generous person. Based on her reviews on Trip Advisor and Viator, we made a reservation with her for this tour. She provided her email address so we could correspond. When we inquired with her about how to make reservations for ferry tickets for us for travel between Split and Hvar and Hvar to Dubrovnik, she offered to purchase the tickets for us. She didn't even want us to send money, rather that we pay her when we met in Split several weeks later! She also contacted our hotels in Split, Hvar and Dubrovnik to help arrange transport to and from the ferry docks and airports. Once we met her in Split she gave us a very thorough tour, describing landmarks, historical events and...She also recommended restaurants, showed us to the ATMs with the lowest fees and told us where to shop for unique Croatian souvenirs. As were were wandering around Split the following day, we ran into Jelena who was giving a tour to another couple and it was like running into an old friend. We also saw her in Hvar! She is a perfect tour guide and a wonderful person.

My wife and I really enjoyed our tour. The tour operator was in contact with us early to make sure we had the date, time, and location of the tour down. We met Vinka at our hotel and saw all the major sites within the city center of Split, from Diocletian’s palace to mid 20th century architectural gems. The tour was about 3 hours long, which was a good amount of time to see everything without feeling overwhelmed or tired. Our tour guide, Vinka, was highly knowledgeable about the history of each place we saw and super personable. She provided us historical context about each place, was able to answer all our questions, and gave us recommendations for additional sites, restaurants, and experiences in the area.

Our group’s adventure to Split was made fabulous with the expert knowledge and support of Jelena.
