Serena, our guide, was fantastic! Our food tour around Florence was both engaging and delicious!!! We tried a variety of food and many wines. Her explanations were detailed but still easy to follow. This was a great experience!!

Excellent food tour with Martina! She showed us the best that Florence has to offer! We met the King of Cheese, enjoyed wine, savory and sweet treats.

The tour was on the expensive side (more than 100 euros per adult and more than 70 euros for children. With that, I expected a lot more food and places - at least to cover a full meal. The tasting portions were relatively small and we went to 5 stops (which were all interesting). However, I really think the price is inflated - especially compared to other food tours we have done in other cities. Other than the questions on value for money, this was a good tour.

Great tour with Eliza. All local, non-tourist places. We bought cheese to bring home. There were places to try authentic local dishes and good wine. Take this tour!!

My colleagues and I had a great time on our tour with Antonella! She took us all kinds of places we never would have found on our own and she opened our eyes to all kinds of remarkable inside information that enriched our time in Florence immensely. We never, never would have tried lampredotto on our own, for example, or met the King of Cheese! Antonella's tour was time and money well spent!

Francisco was our guide and he was fabulous. We went to the Oltrano neighborhood. It was fun, informative and delicious.

Antonella was a fabulous guide, incredibly knowledgeable about the food and drink and very hospitable with the guests. We opened the evening with prosecco, went to visit the King of Cheese, went to two or three other venues for other traditional Florentine courses (a working wine window, gnudi, and an underground wine cellar) and finished with an amazing gelato. Drinks at every stop. There were five couples - none of whom knew each other at the beginning of the evening. Fast friends by the end. We are looking forward to our next experience with Eating Europe in Rome!

We loved Elisa! She was fantastic! Taught us so much about local cuisine, and brought us to so many amazing places that we will definitely return to while we’re here!

I loved this tour - even though I had to eat Lampredotto sandwich (which I survived)!! Our guide, Francesco was great - he certainly knows his food! Food tours are a fantastic way to really delve into a city and its specialties. It is interesting how different parts of a country can do things completely differently from another part. The people at each stop were welcoming and genuinely proud of their offerings. I loved being able to use one of the city's operable "buchetta del vino" - every city should have these!!

What a great tour. Martina was a very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and fun guide. Having the tour take place “On the Other side” took us away from the tourist centre of town, where we met and tasted the foods of generational family establishments. Wonderful food and atmosphere.

Excellent tour of the food of the Oltrarno area of Florence. We tried some things we wouldn’t have tried if left to our own devices (lamprodotto! 😳). Eli was fun and informative, fun tour!
